How To make Dorchester Fudge
1 pk (8oz)semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 c Marshmellow topping
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
1/4 c Butter or margerine, soften
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c Sugar
2/3 c Evaporated milk
1. Place chopped chocolate in a bowl with marshmellow topping,
walnuts, butter and vanilla; set aside. 2. Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a 2-quart saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. 3. Carefull pour boiling sugar-milk mixture over chocolate mixture and stir until chocolate is melted. Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Chill until firm; about one hour. Cut into squares. Makes 1 1/2 lbs. 3 doz pieces Mocha Almond Fudge: Prepare Dorchester Fudge as directed; using chopped, toasted almonds for the walnuts and adding 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder to the sugar-milk mixture. A fudge recipe that takes a little bit more effort, but will definitely be worth your while! My mamaw used to make this and it has been a family tradition since then. Christmas never passes without mom making this wonderful fudge.
Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge Ingredients
4 cups sugar
14 1/2 ounce can evaporated milk
1 cup butter
Mix and heat these over a medium heat to soft ball stage (230°) stirring often.
Remove from heat and stir in:
1 package (12oz) semi sweet chocolate chips. and stir till almost melted
Then add 7 ounces marshmallow cream and stir to combine.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup chopped walnuts.
Beat till chocolate completely melts
Pour into a buttered 13×9 baking dish.
Score while still warm and then cut when firm.

Merry Christmas to you all!!! Today's recipe is the perfect end of year treat, I'm going to show you how to make old-fashioned fudge!! When I say old-fashioned, I mean old.. this recipe is actually over 100 years old!!! It just can't get any better than this, this fudge makes the absolute perfect holiday gift.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. marshmallows (about 32)
3 12oz bags semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbs. vanilla extract
2 sticks butter
41/2 cups sugar
2 cups walnuts
1 12oz can Evaporated milk
Directions:
Place your marshmallows in a bowl and place to the side. In a large mixing bowl add the chocolate chips, butter and vanilla and place to the side aswell. In a large pot add the sugar and can of evaporated milk and bring up to a boil while stirring constantly over medium heat. Once it starts boiling, allow in to boil for exactly 6 minutes. Lower the heat after the 6 minutes and add the marshmallows. Stir until melted then pour all of the hot mixture into the bowl with the chocolate chips. Attach your standing mixer and allow it to whip until fully combined and shiny. Add the walnuts and mix until combined then quickly pour the fudge into a 13x9 inch pan or 2 8 inch aluminum pans. allow it to fully cool then cover and refrigerate to fully set. Serve the fudge at room temp. and enjoy!

Recipe:
7 1/2 oz jar Marshmallow Fluff
2 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 stick butter
5 oz evaporated milk
3/4 tsp vanilla
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
Grease 9 inch baking pan. In large saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients. Stir over low heat until blended. Increase heat to medium to bring to full rolling boil. Boil slowly and stir constantly for 3.5-5 minutes. Remove from heat adn stir in semi-sweet chips. When melted, add vanilla, mix and pour into the greased pan. Let cool and enjoy!!
