INGREDIENTS:
* 6 Chicken leg quarters or, (your favorite cut)
* 1 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning, has salt, so no additional salt needed
* 1 Tbsp all purpose seasoning, or 1 chicken bouillon cube
* 1/2 Tbsp smoked paprika
* 1/2 Tbsp dry or fresh oregano
* A pinch of cumin (more like 1/6 tsp)
* 1 Tbsp half & half ginger & garlic paste
* 1 Tbsp melted butter (sub with olive oil)

FLAVOR PACKED Roasted Chicken w/ Cumin Turmeric: One Pan Dinner!
Watch me make one of my favorite NYT recipes of all-time—with my tried and true tweaks! It’s a flavor-gasm one-pan dinner of spiced chicken with crispy skin, tender meat and so many layers of flavor
Besides the fact that everyone in my home loves this meal,
I like it for 5 key reasons
-It’s cheap
-It’s quick: actual cook time once in the oven is about 45 minutes BUT hands on time is less than 10 minutes!
-It LOOKS impressive (so if you’re having dinner guests, this is a good choice)
-It has layers of flava and textures
-It’s hard to mess up!
This is a NYT recipe--but I’ve made it enough that I can show you how to whip it up seamlessly AND with a few tips to improve based on my experience
Here’s what you need:
FOOD
2 cans garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
Bone-in chicken thighs
1 cup Whole milk yogurt
1 Red onion
1 bunch of cilantro
1 lemons (or bottled lemon juice)
Olive oil
SPICES
Cumin
Turmeric
Salt
Pepper
Supplies
3 bowls
Sheet pan
Step #1: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees
Step #2: Make the marinade:
1 cup of yogurt
1 tbsp #turmeric
2 tablespoons of lemon juice (or two big squeezes)
Couple tablespoons of water
Season the yogurt with sea salt and pepper. Season liberally. It’s a marinade so it needs to taste salty.
After washing and seasoning with salt and pepper, add the chicken to the marinade and move it around so it’s coated.
Cover and let sit for at least 30 minutes
PRO-TIP plastic shower caps are great for covering your mixing bowls in the kitchen!!
STEP #3
Slice the red onion into thin rings
Chop the cilantro
STEP #4
Drain the beans then dump into the bowl
Add teaspoon #cumin, teaspoon turmeric and HALF of the red onion slices Drizzle with olive oil then season well with salt and pepper, coat well then leave
STEP #5
Put other half of onions in a bowl
Squeeze lemon over it
Season with salt and pepper and leave
STEP #6
Put your large sheet pan in the oven to pre-heat
STEP #7
Scrape off excess yogurt from chicken and place in the center of your hot plan
Spread on the chickpea and onion mix around the chicken--keeping them near the meat and away from the pan edges
STEP #8
Put the pan in the oven on a high rack to roast and set your timer for 45 minutes.
Two tips to keep in mind:
Pop into oven occasionally to rotate pan and move beans around in the fat and juices AND
If you decided to use boneless meat-- cut down your cook time or you’ll overcook
STEP #9
Optional: add cherry tomatoes 20 minutes before cook is done
STEP #10
Remove from oven and scatter lemony options and cilantro
Serve with jasmine rice

ZUTATEN:
2 EL Olivenöl
3 Hühnerbrüste ohne Haut und Knochen
1 Knoblauchzehe
Mit Salz und schwarzem Pfeffer würzen
1/2 TL gemahlener Kreuzkümmel
6 EL Salsa
150 g Cheddar-Käse
1/2 Jalapeño
Im vorgeheizten Ofen (190 °C) backen, bis der Käse Blasen schlägt und anfängt zu bräunen, 15 bis 20 Minuten

Das beste und einfachste mexikanische Reisrezept! Es schmeckt, als käme es direkt aus dem Restaurant! Dieses Rezept ist wirklich einfach, lecker und die perfekte Beilage zu jedem mexikanischen Gericht!
ZUTATEN:
2 Tassen Langkornreis
2 EL Olivenöl
Fügen Sie 8 oz / 240 ml Tomatensauce hinzu
6 Stiele Koriander (optional)
1 TL Salz
1 TL gehackter Knoblauch
4 Tassen / 950 ml Hühnerbrühe oder Wasser
1 Würfel Bouillon mit Hühnergeschmack (nur wenn Sie Wasser verwenden)
Prise Kreuzkümmel
Mit Salz und schwarzem Pfeffer würzen
25-35 Minuten köcheln lassen oder bis alles gar ist und keine Flüssigkeit mehr übrig ist. Vor dem Servieren auflockern und GENIESSEN ????????

Follow for more recipes like this Spicy Garlic Cumin Chicken! This recipe is fairly simply and yields a flavorful and bold dish. Feel free to bake/roast the chicken thighs instead (400F for 40-45 min). You can always adjust the spice by adding more or less cayenne pepper and adding optional hot sauce. Cheers!
Ingredients:
-2lbs chicken thighs, bone in and skin on
-1/4 cup neutral or olive oil for frying
Marinade:
-1/4 cup olive oil
-juice of 1 lime *optional*
-4-5 garlic cloves
-2 tsp cumin
-2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tsp onion powder
-2 tsp salt
-2 tsp pepper
-1 tsp cayenne pepper
-1 tsp smoked paprika *optional*
Directions:
-in a food processor or blender, add marinade ingredients; blend until fully incorporated
-lightly score skin-side of the chicken with a knife to help marinade penetrate
-add chicken and marinade in a large bowl; mix well and allow to sit in fridge for 30 minutes up to overnight (4-6 hours ideal)
-set a large skillet or pan on medium heat
-add 1/4 cup of oil to pan
-lay chicken thighs away from you, skin-side down (do not overcrowd pan)
-sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown; flip and sear for 3-4 minutes
-cook until internal temp 165F or juices run clear
-remove from heat and place onto plate lined with paper towels
-can toss with optional hot sauce as well
-serve with favorite sides and enjoy!

Make This Spicy Roast Chicken That Will Leave Your Taste Buds Sizzling! Juicy ROAST CHICKEN RECIPE
In today's video, we show you how to make this deliciously spicy and juicy roast chicken recipe. The chicken marinade is very easy to make and is perfect for any Sunday family roast. We also share tips on how to cook a whole chicken in the oven. We served this roasted chicken with spicy vegetable rice and a bean and pasta salad. It can also be served with roast potatoes, chips, or even our smashed potatoes recipe which you can find here:
To make the Juicy Roast Chicken recipe, you will need:
3 tbs olive oil
4-5 crushed garlic cloves
juice of one small lemon or half of a large lemon
2 yogurt
salt to taste
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 heaped tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp onion granules
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp chili flakes
optional: 1 tsp cajun spice *(see notes below for alternatives)
1 tsp mustard
1 tbs honey
1 small whole chicken (ideally leave the skin on)
onions, tomatoes, capsicum peppers and lemon slices
Cook in a pre-heated oven 200C for at least one hour (or until cooked). Baste the chicken regularly at least 3 to 4 times during cooking.
*Notes: Cajun seasoning spice is a combination of various spices. We have already used some of these spices in the marinade anyway, so if you don't have this available then it is ok to skip it, or just add a little extra of the spices it contains. Although there are slight variations of the spices used in cajun seasoning, it usually contains the following - paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, white pepper, onion, oregano, and cayenne pepper.
