These donuts are delicious packed with chocolate flavor and dipped in a yummy chocolate glaze. This recipe is really easy to make, if I can make them you can make them. Let's get baking!

Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup of all purpose flour (128g)
1/4 cup of cocoa powder(unsweetened) (25g)
1/3 cup of granulated sugar (67g)
1 tsp of baking powder (4g)
1/2 tsp of baking soda (3g)
1/2 tsp of salt (6g)
3 Tbs of melted butter (42g)
1 tsp of vanilla extract (5ml)
1 cup of milk (240ml)
1 large egg
Chocolate Glaze:
1 cup of powdered sugar (confectioners)(125g)
3 Tbs of cocoa powder (22g)
4 to 5 Tbs of milk (44 to 49ml)
Tools:
Donut Pan : or make your own pan
Whisk or Electric Mixer

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor. Today I will show you how to make chocolate donuts; these are going to be chocolate cake doughnuts. I had a request to make chocolate donuts, so here we go, let’s make chocolate donuts. They are really easy to do, let’s get started. All right first let’s preheat our oven to 350 degrees. Now let’s go ahead and mix our dry ingredients. I have one cup of all purpose flour in here, one fourth cup of cocoa powder, one third cup of granulated sugar, 1 tsp. of baking powder, 1 half tsp. of baking soda, and 1 half tsp. of salt. And then with a whisk let’s go ahead and mix this together, and if you like if you prefer, you can use a sifter. Now for the wet ingredients, 3 Tbsp. of butter, which I have melted, 1 tsp. of vanilla extract, 1 cup of milk, I am using whole milk but you can use whatever milk you want, and one large egg. Okay and we will go ahead and give this a good whisk. Okay now what we are going to do is we are going to add our flour mixture. Just a little bit at a time, probably about a 3rd of it at a time. You can use a hand mixer for this if you like. Rest of our flour mixture. Okay and then we mix it together until it forms a nice cake batter like this. All right now what we do is I take my donut pan, if you don’t have a doughnut pan, I put a link down below in the description where you can pick one up, and I lightly sprayed it with kitchen spray. And then we go in here and get some batter, and just go ahead and just fill this up about three quarters of the way full, get a little bit more in there, all right, once you have them all filled up, what we do is we bake them in the oven at 350 degrees, for 7 to 9 minutes, until when you poke it with a toothpick it comes out clean. Once they come out of the oven they will look like that. Ready to go, and then what you do is you let them cool for about 5 to 10 minutes before you start to handle them. Now what we are going to do is we are going to make our chocolate glaze. So I have one cup of powdered sugar, and I am going to add 3 Tbsp. of cocoa powder, then I have 5 Tbsp. of milk, but we are not going to add it all at once, because it depends on how thick we want our glaze, so I am going to start with that and see where it gets us. Ok this glaze this is a little bit too thick, go ahead and add a little bit more milk, and that is about how you want it, but I am going to add just a little bit more, not all of it, just a little more. All right that is about what I want it to be; it will resemble a thick chocolate milk. All right then what we will do is take one of our doughnuts, it will come right out, and then if is just going to go ahead and go face down in it, like that, and then I am going to go ahead and put it on here, and then what we can do is take some sprinkles....

Baked Double Chocolate Doughnuts Recipe | Chocolate Doughnuts Recipe | Donuts
Super Moist and fudgy, this easy recipe for baked double chocolate doughnuts with chocolate glaze is a chocolate lover's dream! These donuts are way better than the ones from the bakery and there's no deep frying.
Ingredients:
1/3 c. Cocoa powder
1 c. All-purpose purpose flour
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/4 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. White sugar
1/3 c Brown sugar
1/2 c. Milk
1 Large egg
1/4 c. Sour cream
1/4 c. Vegetable oil
3/4 tsp. Vanilla
Procedure:
1. Preheat oven to 350f , and prepare your doughnut pan ,spray with non stick spray or grease it with butter.
2. In a medium size bowl whisk together cocoa, flour, baking powder, baking soda,salt. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl add the white sugar, brown sugar and sour cream whisk until combined and creamy. Then add milk, egg, oil and vanilla. Whisk again to combine.
4. Add dry Ingredients to wet Ingredients and whisk together until just combine. Do not overmix.
5. Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each about 1/2 of the way up.
6. Baked in the preheated oven for 12-15 mins. or until risen and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center.
7. Allow to cool for 2 mins. and then carefully remove the doughnuts from the pan. Once they are remove set them aside on a cooling rack. Cool completely before frosting.
For the Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup water
100 grms. Dark chocolate
100 grms. Butter
Procedure:
1. Finely chopped the chocolate and transfer to a bowl.
2. Pour in 1 cup water and transfer the bowl with a chocolate into the pan or casserole ,heated into medium-high heat.(make sure the water doesn't touch the bowl with chocolate and butter).
3. Add in the butter and stir it until it completely melts.
4. Once done, you can now dip your doughnuts onto your frosting.
For toppings (optional)
chocolate Sprinkles
nuts
funfeftti
oreos
white chocolate
desiccated coconut
or
any of your choice.

Perfect doughnut recipe with easy steps. You can use any topping like Chocolate, Sugar glaze or simply coat with sugar. This recipe uses buttermilk which make the doughnut super soft . Do try and let me know your feedbacks ????.
Ingredients for dough:
All purpose flour ( Maida)-2 &1/4 cups +1 tablespoon ( Dough has to be sticky and elastic, so do not add too much flour, you will end up with hard doughnuts.)
Salt-1/4 teaspoon
water(room temperature/ Lukewarm)-2 tablespoon
Butter ( Melted)-2 tablespoon
Sugar-1/4 cup ( 50 g)
Egg ( medium sized)-1 ( beaten)- Use room temperature egg
Instant yeast-3/4 teaspoon ( If using dry yeast, mix it with the 2 tablespoon water mentioned in the recipe and 1/2 teaspoon sugar, wait for 10 minutes for the yeast to activate)
Butter milk-100 ml (at room temperature)
( You can make butter milk substitute by adding 1 teaspoon lemon juice to 100 ml milk)
Frying :
1 or 2 cup oil ( I used sunflower oil)
Chocolate topping:
150 G chocolates melted.
How many doughnuts can be made?:
16-18. I used a 3 inch diameter cookie cutter.
Oil temperature:
It should be around 180C-190C. You can check the temperature with a skewer , dip the skewer in the hot oil, If you see bubbles forming around the skewer , Oil is ready for frying. If the bubbles are forming very fast then the oil is very hot, you have to reduce the temperature.
Proofing time:
First proofing: 1- 2 &1/2 hours depending on the room temperature.
Second proofing: 30- 60 minutes.
