Stir-Fried OYSTER MUSHROOMS: Alkaline Vegan Oyster Mushroom Stir Fry Recipe - Alkaline Diet Approved
Stir-Fried Oyster Mushrooms is now a staple in most Vegan Homes. My Alkaline Vegan Oyster Mushroom Stir Fry will blow your mind. Oyster Mushrooms are reasonably cheap considering the fact that they taste delicious and can serve as a really good meat replacement. I made mine similar to a Chinese take-out. It's spicy, Umami, and sweet. The outer edges of my Oyster Mushrooms are crispy and the inside is moist and juicy.
Using a cast iron to make this Stir Fried Oyster Mushroom will make a world of difference in the color, taste, and texture. I once used a stainless steel pan and it came out a bit soggier than expected. That's because cast iron pans are known to retain heat better than stainless steel pans. But if you don't have one, just crank up the heat (to high), and your Oyster Mushrooms will come out looking good.

The Correct Way To Cook Dried Shiitake Mushrooms Without The Unfavourable Bitter Taste [ Part 1 ]

The correct and delicious way to cook dried shiitake mushrooms without the bitter taste. Braised or stewed mushrooms can be prepared before hand to cook with chicken or stirfry dishes. Can be kept in the freezer when needed. Convenient and saves time when time is of essence.
Ingredients
150g dried shiitake mushrooms
Garlic
Ginger
Oyster sauce
Salt
Sugar
Soak mushrooms for 20 minutes. Drain mushrooms, add 3 heaped tbsp of cornflour to coat mushrooms. Give a good rub. Then rinse with water until water runs clear. Drain away water. Soak with clean filtered water for 2-4 hours depending on the thickness of mushrooms. Keep mushroom water for later use. Cut away stalks. Squeeze dry. It’s ready to cook.
Oil into a heated saucepan or wok, add oil garlic and ginger. Stirfry mushroom until all is coated with oil. Add seasoning ingredients n mushroom water. Bring to a boil, cover and braised for 1 -1.5 hours depending on the thickness n quality of mushrooms.

How to cook Oyster Mushrooms, Shiitake and King Oysters: Mycogio Style
In this video you can enjoy the way that mycogio cooks his mushrooms. At the same time you can see the progress of the oyster mushrooms grown test.
How to make mushrooms taste like meat
If you want to know how to make mushrroms taste like meat then watch this video. I have a fire ????recipe that even meat eaters will love. This is my go to vegan meat substitute.
So for these vegan carnitas you will need a package of oyster mushrooms. I used the flat ones that look like little sting rays.
Shred it with your hands then make the marinade. Add 3 TBS tomato paste, 4 TBS soy sauce, 4 TBS grape seed oil, 4 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp oregano, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp smoked paprika, and 4 TBS coconut sugar.
Mix and pour over shredded mushrooms. Let sit while you saute half green pepper and half yellow onion. Once browned add in the mushrooms. Mix and let sit on one side for 5 mins until browned. Then flip over and let brown on the other side. Do this to each side twice on medium high heat. this wil help it get crispy. Next add on to a sheet pan on parchment paper onr non stick foil and bake at 425 for 15 mins.
