Apple Fritters (Fried!) | Sunday Breakfast Ideas
Apple Fritters are a favorite treat of my hubby's. I took on the challenge to make them myself for his birthday and these were SO GOOD! The only warning I must give is you need to try and thin them as best as possible, thick areas are hard to cook through. Make every effort to thin AND fry enough.
These were amazing with Coffee!!

Apple Fritters Recipe
RECIPE: Hi Guys, today I'll show you How to Make Apple Fritters. These are a quick and delicious snack or dessert. Peel and cut apples into small chunks. Heat up butter in a pan and add apples. Add a pinch of salt and sauté apples for a few minutes until golden. Add sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix until sugar is melted. Remove apples from pan and set aside to cool.
Heat up enough oil to fry the fritters. In a bowl, mix all purpose flour with baking powder, salt and sugar, To a measuring cup, add milk, egg and vegetable oil. Beat well. Pour this wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well. In a bowl, mix sugar and ground cinnamon to coat the cooked fritters.
Fold in cooled apples to the batter. Use a tablespoon (silverware) to pour batter onto hot oil. Slide batter across oil so fritter won't be a ball. This will help the batter cook on the inside quickly. Cook for about one minute on each side until golden brown. Turn over after one side is golden brown. Drain fritters and place them directly in cinnamon sugar. Coat fritters in the cinnamon sugar and enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
Give this a try and let me know how you like it. Subscribe and I'll see you next time. Thanks for watching :)
