How To make Ziti with Cheese
1/2 pound whole wheat ziti or spirals
*
1 1/2 cups diced mozzarella and provolone :
any proportion
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup minced parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 cloves garlic -- split
2 tablespoons oil (prefably at least part olive oil)
pepper
* Good with green fusilli.
Bring a pot of water to a boil, salt slightly, and cook pasta until jun tender, about 12 minutes. Meanwhile, combine cheeses, parsley, and basil.
Put split cloves of garlic in a small saucepan or heatproof measuring cup with oil and cook slowly over low heat until garlic is just brown. Discard garlic.
Drain pasta. Return to pot and toss with cheeses, herbs, and hot garlic oil.
Warm gently until cheese softens but still holds its shape. Season liberally with pepper.
Serves 4. (At our house, served 2 as a main course with a small salad.)

Ingredients -
500g (1.1lbs) - Pasta of your choice (I used shells)
1 Tbsp (14g) - Unsalted Butter
1 tsp (5ml) - Olive Oil
6 - Garlic Cloves, Minced
1/3 Cup (80ml) - Chicken or Vegetable Stock
400ml (13.5floz) - Thickened Cream (Heavy Cream, Whipping Cream)
120g (4.2oz) - Baby Spinach, Washed
60g (2.1oz) - Grana Padano Cheese, Freshly Grated
5g (0.2oz) - Flat Leaf Parsley or Basil, Roughly Chopped

Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake
Servings: 6 - 8
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 chicken breasts, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 ½ cups chicken broth
2 ½ cups heavy cream
1 pound uncooked penne
2 cups parmesan
2 cups mozzarella
A handful of fresh parsley, chopped
PREPARATION
1. In a pot, heat oil and add chicken. Season chicken with salt and pepper, add garlic, then brown the chicken. Add broth, heavy cream, and pasta, and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat to a simmer for 15-20 min.
2. Turn off heat and stir in 1 ½ cups of parmesan cheese. Pour half of the pasta into a greased 11x7 inch or 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Layer the remaining half of the pasta evenly on top. Sprinkle evenly with 1 cup of mozzarella and ½ cup of parmesan.
3. Broil 10 - 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown. Remove and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
4. Serve warm and enjoy!

Baked Ziti is an easy, saucy, and cheesy pasta casserole. It has all of the great flavors of lasagna but is much easier to make as a pasta bake with ziti or penne noodles.

►1 lb ziti (or penne pasta)
►1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
►1 onion, chopped
►2 garlic cloves, minced
►1 tsp salt
►1/2 tsp black pepper
►5 cups marinara sauce
►15 oz fresh ricotta,
►10 fresh basil leaves
►12 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
►1 cup grated parmesan cheese
