I decided to replicate Wendy's chili.... and it turned out pretty darn good. This is a perfect meal for these winter months.... and you can make it in your own kitchen. Enjoy!
Recreating WENDY'S CHILI CON CARNE
Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 lbs fresh ground beef
1-quart tomato juice
1 (29 oz) can of tomato puree
15 oz canned pinto beans. drained
15 oz canned red kidney beans, drained
¼ cup diced green bell pepper
1 large onion, chopped (about 1 ½ cups)
¼ cup diced celery
¼ cup chili powder
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp oregano

How to Make Instant Pot Wendys Chili
You can make great tasting Wendys Chili in your Instant Pot. It is so easy to make this copycat chili recipe.

Here is the recipe:
2 pounds fresh ground beef
1 quart tomato juice
1 (29-ounce) can tomato purée
1 (15-ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
1 (15-ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 medium-large onion, chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1/4 cup chili powder (use less for milder chili)
1 teaspoon ground cumin (use more for real flavor)
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Set the Instant Pot to saute, and allow the pot to heat up. Add in two pounds of ground beef and brown. Drain if desired. Add in tomato juice, tomato puree, red kidney beans, and pinto beans. Add in onion, celery, green bell pepper. Add in the seasonings.
Cook for 6 minutes on manual. Perform a quick release. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
2 pounds fresh ground beef
1 quart tomato juice
1 (29-ounce) can tomato puree
15 ounces canned red beans drained
15 ounces canned pinto beans drained
1 large onion, chopped (about 1½ cups)
½ cup diced celery
¼ cup diced green bell pepper
¼ cup chili powder (you may want to use less, as some people find this is too much)
1 teaspoon cumin
1½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon sugar
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
Stovetop Directions
In a skillet, brown the ground beef.
Drain the grease from the browned ground beef.
Put the drained beef and the remaining ingredients in a 6-quart pot. Stir to combine.
Cover the pot; let it simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
Slow cooker Directions
In a skillet, brown the ground beef.
Drain the grease from the browned ground beef.
Put the drained beef and the remaining ingredients in a slow cooker.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
