Jamie's Mulled Cider | Jamie Oliver
If you're looking for something a bit different to the classic Mulled Wine, have a look at Jamie's Mulled Cider. It's warm, delicious and fantastic for a Christmas party on a cold winter's day.
You'll need scrumpy cider, cloves, star anise, nutmeg, a cinnamon stick, a vanilla pod, an orange, two clementines and caster sugar.

Wassail Recipe - How to Make a Traditional Christmas Mulled Cider
I'm not sure which is better, how wonderful this stuff makes your house smell, or how fabulous it is to serve to your loved ones. Hot mulled cider - also known as wassail, is a traditional Christmas beverage, and it's just plain delicious. It's super easy and can be thrown in a crockpot, for even more hands-off prep. WASSAIL | Hot MULLED CIDER | DIY Christmas Beverage
WASSAIL...comes for the Anglo-Saxon phrase meaning 'Good Health'. Made with fresh apple cider, pineapple juice, lemon juice, orange slices, honey, and nutmeg!! Recipe below...
WASSAIL
(Serves 12)
6 cups Apple Cider
4-6 cinnamon sticks, extra to garnish drinks (optional)
1 (48-ounce) can pineapple juice, unsweetened
2 oranges sliced, extra to garnish drinks (optional)
1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup honey
1. In a large sauce pan, over medium-high heat, add apple cider and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil. Cover. Reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add pineapple juice, orange slices, lemon zest, lemon juice, nutmeg, and honey. Bring to a gentle boil on medium-high heat. Reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered.
3. Serve in your favorite mugs or coffee cups. Garnish with an orange slice and cinnamon stick, optional.
TIPS: Store in refrigerator, covered, up to 3 days.

I wanted to bring you this festive gift in Honour of the Winter Solstice and Yuletide Traditions!
Wassail is a beverage made from hot mulled cider, fruit & spices, drunk traditionally as an integral part of wassailing, an ancient English Yuletide drinking ritual.
Wassailing is a very ancient custom that is rarely done today. The word 'wassail' comes from the Anglo-Saxon phrase 'waes hael', which means 'good health' ♥️
Recipe:
2 Apples
2 Oranges
2 Bottles of Apple Cider (Optional)
2 shot of Rums (Optional)
1 Bottle of Apple Juice
Cinnamon Sticks
1 Tbsp Star Anise
1 Tbsp Cloves
1 Tbsp Ginger
1 Tbsp Nutmeg
1 Tsp Honey
