Hi lovies! Welcome back to another episode of Yulidays! For today's Witchy Wednesday we are creating one of my favorite drinks of the Holiday. Hope you will try and enjoy as much as I do!
❄ INGREDIENTS ❄
1 Gallon apple cider
1/2 C. orange Juice
1/2 C Brown sugar
1 oranges
Whole cloves
1 apple diced
1 TBSP Allspice
1 TBSP Ginger (Can add more to desired taste)
2 TBS SP Nutmeg (Can add more to desired taste)
3 cinnamon sticks (or 3 TBSP. ground cinnamon)
1/2 C - 1 C Rum
--Simmer 45 min to 1 hour. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 gallon of apple cider
2 cups of orange juice
1 lemon, cut in half
1 orange or 3 tangerines cut in half
1 apple
2 teaspoons of whole cloves
4 cinnamon sticks
1 cardamon pod
2 teaspoons whole allspice
1 whole nutmeg or 1 tsp ground nutmeg
2-3 small piloncillo cones or 2-3 tablespoons of brown sugar
Bourbon (optional)
Garnish: tangerine slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise
Equipment:
Large, heavy-bottom stockpot
Preparation:
1. Poke the cloves into the apple (you can also do this to a whole orange).
2. Add juice to a large, heavy-bottom stockpot, followed by spices and fruits.
3. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat, and then lower heat and simmer the drink for 30-45 minutes.
4. Ladle into mugs and garnish with tangerine slices and cinnamon sticks or star anise.
5. Optional: spike it with your favorite bourbon!

Recipe: Wassail
Ingredients:
1 gallon apple cider
1t ground cloves
1t ground all spice
1t ground nutmeg
1t ground cinnamon
1 (6oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted
1(6oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
½ c firmly packed brown sugar
Directions:
Combine 2c apple cider and spices in a large dutch oven or pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add remaining apple cider, lemonade, orange juice and brown sugar. Heat until very hot, but do not boil. Yield: 4 ½ quarts
