Biscuit Waffle Breakfast Burger! VEGAN! #Shorts

I’ve seen this trick where people put some canned biscuits in a waffle iron so I thought I’d give it a go and it’s such a good move! Super Easy and Double Dang Delicious! I’m also showing y’all my hack to get bigger breakfast sausages and how to cook a nice round patty with the Just Egg!
You gotta try this! Lots of different variations to be had as well! I can’t wait to experiment more with it!
For the biscuits, just double check that they are vegan, some of them (like the “Flaky Layers” variety) have milk in ‘em! Ironically, the Buttermilk flavored ones have no buttermilk!
My goal at THEE BURGER DUDE is to show vegans and non-vegans alike how easy it is to make delicious and decadent vegan meals. I used to eat a lot of meat and dairy before going vegan, so this channel is aimed at people like myself before going vegan. Today I'm going to show you how to make healthy waffles with oats.
These healthy waffles make a delicious breakfast that will keep you full for a long time.
These waffles are packed with fiber and slow-releasing carbs from the oats, and also some protein and healthy fat.

HEALTHY WAFFLE RECIPE
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Greek yogurt (130g)
1/2 cup milk, dairy or non dairy (120ml)
3 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup, honey or agave
1 egg or 1 flax-egg
1.5 cup ground oats or oat flour (150g)
1 tbsp cornstarch or tapioca starch
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
NUTRITIONAL INFO (per waffle):
140 calories, fat 4.3g, carb 19.6g, protein 5.8g
Preparation:
In a bowl, add the Greek yogurt, milk, applesauce, coconut oil and maple syrup, and mix until combined.
Then, add the ground oats, cornstarch, baking powder and salt, and mix just until the batter is formed. Set aside to rest for 10 minutes.
While the batter is resting, pre-heat your waffle maker and grease with some melted butter or coconut oil to prevent sticking.
Pour the batter on a hot waffle maker using a cookie scoop or your measuring cup. How much batter? That actually depends on the type of your waffle maker.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until crispy and golden crust is formed.
Let it cool on a wire rack 5 minutes, then serve with your favorite topping and dig in.
