Turkey injection recipe - Quick and Easy Garlic Butter
Easy Turkey Injection Recipe
Oh Boy....Its Turkey day or Xmas you forgot the injection goodness for the turkey...... Don't panic this has happened to us before and we did not want to bother with the rush at the grocery store on the day of.... So we came up with this little life savor recipe that is quick and easy. Let us know what you think.
My favorite Turkey injector ~
Ingredients: * 2 sticks of butter (1 cup) * 1 TBSP Garlic Powder (do not use minced, it will get stuck in your injector) * 1 TSP Onion Powder * 1 TSP Salt
Directions: 1. Melt butter 2. Mix in all spices 3. Load injector, I find it best to mix each time before I load the injector so the spices spread evenly 4. Inject turkey all over, in every direction, under the skin and in the meaty portions 5. Rub the outside if desired 6. Cook and Enjoy!
You can easily modify this recipe to taste. We prefer simple garlic butter but you could make this creole, or spicy, or Italian...the possibilities are endless!
