How To make Swedish Chocolate Cake
1 c Shortening
1 1/2 c Sugar
3 Eggs
2 oz Baking chocolate
-(unsweetened), melted 2 c Cake flour
2 t Baking powder
1 t Salt
1/4 t Baking soda
1 c Cream, heavy
2 t Vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Butter a Bundt pan and sprinkle with about 2 T dry bread crumbs, until it is well-coated. This makes a much better
crust than flour does. In a large bowl, add the sugar to the shortening and cream well. Blend in the eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Stir in the melted chocolate. Sift together the dry ingredients. Combine the cream and vanilla extract. Add to the chocolate mixture alternately with the dry ingredients, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cool the cake in the pan a few minutes before removing. NOTES: * A rich chocolate Bundt cake -- I got this recipe from my mom, who got it from an American book called Swedish Baking. I like to make this because it does not need to be frosted, which makes it an easy dessert. Yield: one Bundt cake. * This is not an authentic Swedish recipe because their flour is different enough to cause problems in baking. However, the results seem authentic. : Difficulty: easy to moderate. : Time: 20 minutes preparation, 1 hour baking. : Precision: measure carefully. : Kate Hedstrom : UC San Diego : San Diego,Ca : sdcsvax!sdcc12!np42cb : Copyright (C) 1986 USENET Community Trust

SWEDISH KLADDKAKA Recipe | Swedish Sticky Chocolate Cake
SWEDISH KLADDKAKA Recipe | Swedish Sticky Chocolate Cake
The Kladdkaka is the Swedish brother of the typical gooey chocolate brownie that we all love! It's Sweden's most popular cake and it's sold in every café for their popular fika (coffee break). Topped with some whipped cream, this cake is the bomb! I love to serve it with some fresh fruits as well and if you keep it in the fridge overnight it turns into a delicious truffle cake. OMG so yummy!
Lots of love,
Eileen

KLADDKAKA | Swedish Sticky Chocolate Cake
This incredibly popular chocolate cake is so simple (only 4 ingredients!) and fast to throw together but the results are rich, decadent and delicious.
100g (7 Tbsp) butter
200g (7 oz) dark chocolate
200g (1 cup) sugar
200g (4) eggs
First preheat your oven to 200C or 400F. Butter and flour a springform pan with cocoa powder so it covers both the bottom and up the sides. Place the dark chocolate and the butter in a bowl. Melt using either a double boiler or the microwave. While that's melting, whisk together the eggs and the sugar. Add the melted chocolate into eggs slowly so as to not curdle the eggs. You could also wait a bit for the chocolate mixture to cool down before adding them in, but I never have the patience for that. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and pop into the oven. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Be careful not to over bake. While the cake is cooling make the glaze. Melt the white chocolate. Then heat the cream until it is very warm but not hot. Pour a bit of the cream over the chocolate so that it breaks. Continue to add the cream bit by bit until you have a smooth ganache. Pour over the cake. Once the ganache stops dripping, decorate with fresh berries and enjoy!
