How To make Sorry Cake
CAKE:
2 c Flour
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening
1/2 c Butter, sweet
1 2/3 c Sugar
6 lg Egg; separated
1 c Buttermilk
1 T Orange zest; grated
2 c Shredded Wheat; broken into
-shreds 1 c Cranberries; quartered
1/2 c Pecans; chopped
1/4 ts Cream of tartar
FROSTING:
4 oz Cream cheese; softened
1/4 c Butter, sweet; softened
3 c Sugar, confectioners
1 T Orange juice
1 ts Orange zest; grated
Preheat oven to 350 F. To make the cake, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Beat the shortening with the butter until well combined. Cream in the sugar and beat until fluffy and light. Beat in the egg yolks one at a time until well combined. Add the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour. Stir in the orange zest, cereal, cranberries, and pecans. Beat the cream of tartar into the egg whites and continue beating until stiff. Gently fold the whites into the cake batter. Pour into three greased 8" or 9" round cake pans. Bake for 25 35 minutes, or until a toothpick tests clean. Cool on wire rack. Frosting: Beat the cream cheese with the butter until well combined. Graduallyl add the confectioners' sugar and orange juice; beat until creamy and smooth. Stir in the orange zest. Frost the tops and sides of the cake. ---*The Cereal Murders* Diane Mott Davidson

Preheat the oven to 180C and grease and line 2 7 inch baking tin with baking parchment .
In a lard mixing bowl, peel and add the bananas and mash it with a fork. Add milk, sugar and oil. Whisk well to combine.
Add the flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, baking soda and whisk together until thoroughly combined.
Add vinegar and mix in just before it is poured into the mould.
Pour into the prepared tin. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the cake is well risen and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack. Serve warm or cold in slices. You can top it with cream cheese frosting or simple whipped cream.

Eggless Moist Butter Cake Recipe
Eggless butter cake – I had received a lot of request on this cake for some reason. Honestly, I had tried to bake 3 times for this video. For the first 2 recipes, I was not happy at all. This recipe which is my 3rd try has considered the closest to the taste of a butter cake. Like I said to some of you, do not give, try and try until you get. Hope you’re inspired with this recipe. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
8x8 inch pan
250g cake flour or all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
390g condensed milk
150g unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp powdered sugar
3 tbsp water
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven 170°C / 340°F.
2. In a bowl, sift all the dry ingredients. Set aside.
3. In another large bowl, add condensed milk and butter. Stir until well combined. Add vanilla extract. Continue beating. Add powdered sugar and slowly add in the water. Stir until well combined.
4. Scoop the flour mixture spoon by spoon. Mix well until the flour disappear. Mix until ribbon is formed at the end of mixing.
5. Lightly grease the sides of the pan. You don’t have to grease in this case but I did it just so that it will hold the parchment papers later. Lay parchment papers on the pan. Pour in the batter gently.
Bake in the oven at 170°C / 340°F for 50-55 minutes. Check the cake with a skewer or cake test.
6. Let the cake cool for 15 minutes before caking.
7. Cake will be ready to serve.

Today we came up with the easy eggless Rava cake recipe in the cooker at home. Rava is called as Suji in Hindi, and Semolina in English. Rava is nothing but Bombay Rava or Upma Rava.
Earlier I posted Turkish popular Basbousa recipe, that is with eggs. Now we came up the eggless version.
