Stanley Tucci's Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes | Tucci™ by GreenPan™ Exclusively at Williams Sonoma
Pasta alla checca, as this dish is called in Italy, is quick, light and fresh, making it perfect for the summer months, when tomatoes are in abundance and at their peak. Cookbook author and actor Stanley Tucci explains, “When I was working a lot in Los Angeles, it seemed that every restaurant had it on their menu—which is hardly surprising: they have access to terrific tomatoes year-round.” If you have a heat diffuser, use it when sautéing the garlic and onion; you want them to soften but not take on any color before adding the tomatoes.

12 Jarred Alfredo Sauces, Ranked Worst To Best
The immediate image that pops into your head when you hear pasta may be spaghetti with marinara sauce, but don't sleep on fettuccine Alfredo. The wide noodles and cheesy, creamy sauce are a truly tasty alternative to the same old spaghetti.
One reason fettuccine Alfredo may not be as common for homemade pasta dinners is that making it can be pretty work-intensive if you make the sauce from scratch. And yes, that's the best way to do it. That said, there are some pretty good jarred Alfredo sauces out there. You just have to know which ones to get. These are 12 jarred Alfredo sauces, ranked from worst to best.
