There is nothing like a good molasses crinkle cookie: just the right amount of snap with a chewy center. These were one of my grandma's all-time favorites with the recipe coming from Great-Grandma. The only update is amping up the ginger. These are a perfect Christmas cookie!

- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon

DELICIOUS Molasses Crybaby Cookies - 1920's recipe to get cozy with!
January and February are the hardest months for me to get through - so I figured why not eat my way through them lol
This crybaby cookie recipe from the 1920s is perfect for this time of year - bringing back a slight nod to the warmth and deliciousness of Christmas time even though where I am at, it is currently pouring buckets.
These are something between a molasses cookie and a gingersnap - very good though whatever a crybaby actually is...
