Ingredients:
2 lb. crabmeat 1 lb. Lump and 1lb. backfin crabmeat blend
2 Cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 shallot, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. butter, unsalted
2 Tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
½ c. panko breadcrumbs
3 tbsp. Chives, chopped
½ tsp. Tabasco sauce
6 tbsp. mayonnaise
1½ lemons Zested
½ tsp. Salt to your taste
½ tsp. black pepper to your taste
2 oz. oil for cooking
For Creamed Corn
4 ears fresh corn, cut from the cob or 1 lb. frozen corn
3 tbsp. yellow onion, diced small
3 tbsp. unsalted butter
½ cup heavy cream
½ tsp. Salt to your taste
½ tsp. Black pepper to your taste
For the Asparagus
Kosher salt
1 lb. Asparagus
Extra-virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, smashed
¼ tsp. Salt to your taste
¼ tsp. black pepper to your taste
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
00:00 Shape and set the crab cake in the fridge overnight to retain its form during the breading process.
00:11 Lightly Season, flour, and egg wash the crab cake before adding breadcrumbs for a crispy crust.
00:38 Season the crab cake between layers and fry until golden, adding butter for extra flavor and color.
01:07 Baste with butter while frying, then bake to achieve a crisp exterior and warm center.
01:22 For creamed corn, sweat onions with salt, pepper, and garlic before adding corn and cream.
02:32 Sauté asparagus instead of boiling; toast dry, then add olive oil to blister the skin.
03:02 After cooking, top asparagus with grated Parmesan, lemon zest, and butter for added flavor.

FOR REALZ! Every time I've planned to take a day to get in a mega once a month grocery shopping haul for my big family of ten *something happens.* Mainly, it has snowed on every day I plan in advance to go. Never fear, large family mom getting creative and cooking all the food is here!
In today's large family weekly meal plan I share big batch cooking for Trim Healthy Mama, loads of waffles, kid-friendly snacks, large family dinners, creative uses for leftovers and more. I also end up remaking some recent big family favorites like THM S-meal chili and Keto meatloaf.
I hope you enjoy these large family meals of the week. Tomorrow, finally, I'll share my big family once a month grocery shopping shop with me for February 2019! After that will be the super huge grocery haul.

CANNOLI CREAM RECIPE
Ricotta Cheese, impastata 4 lbs. 8 oz.
Sugar 1 lbs. 8 oz.
Vanilla 1 Tbsp.
Cinnamon oil 2-3 drops
Chocolate chips 4 oz.
Total yield: 6# 4 oz.
Method:
• Make sure to measure all your ingredients and gather all equipment before starting
• Place tabletop mixer with paddle attachment on work area, then place the impastata cheese into mixer bowl, mix the cheese on 1st speed to combine and smooth
• Add granulated sugar next, allow to mix in completely and dissolve, the texture will now change to a smoother consistency
• Next is the vanilla, cinnamon oil, and chocolate chips (optional: if you don't want to mix in the chocolate chips, you can use to sprinkle at the end, but we always have chips in our Cannoli’s)
• Once all ingredients are added mix only until incorporated, place in pastry bag and into the refrigerator until ready to pipe and serve.
