Corn Meal Griddle Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
1 Cup Papa Tom's Yellow Corn Meal
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup water
4 - 6 Tbsp Oil for frying
Directions
Whisk together the dry ingredients, corn meal, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and water till thoroughly mixed.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and gently fold them in. The batter should not be watery.
Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet or griddle over medium heat. Ladle 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet.
Cook the griddle cakes until the bottom is browned, then gently turn. Cook for about 2 - 3 minutes on each side.

Pancake | Easy pancake recipe | Fluffy and soft hotcakes | Simple and fast griddle cake | Spongy
INGREDIENTS
1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 large egg
50 gms melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, add melted butter, sugar and egg. Whisk together. Add 1/2 cup milk. Now add flour and sift together. Add remaining milk gradually till smooth consistency. Finally, add baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla essence. Mix well.
Preheat a flat griddle over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto griddle. Let pancakes cook until bubbles form before flipping. Cook other side until golden brown. It takes approximately 2 minutes to cook both sides. Serve hot with honey or syrup.
