Thank you so much Salt's Cure for providing me with this recipe, this was my first time making and eating oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!
Pancake Ingredients: -1 package of Salt's Cure Oatmeal Griddle Cake mix -1 cup of water -1 egg
Compound Butter: -1 pack of Salt's Cure Cinnamon Molasses -1 stick of butter -1/4 cup of raisins -1 tbs brown sugar -1 tbs vanilla
Blend the molasses packet, 1 tbs of brown sugar, 1/4 cup chopped raisins, and butter in a small mixer to create the compound butter. Take griddle cake batter out of the fridge and move to the stove in a cast iron pan. Add a little vegetable oil into the pan over medium heat. Pour some batter into the hot pan just like you would with a regular pancake. Flip the griddle cake when it starts to bubble and is golden brown on the bottom.
Serve the oatmeal pancake with the compound butter overtop and enjoy!
