How To make Oatmeal Griddle Cakes
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups cooked oatmeal
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons melted butter
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Beat together the egg, cooked oatmeal, evaporated milk, water, and melted butter in a large bowl. Mix the two mixtures together and cook!
To freeze: After cooking you can freeze individually wrapped pancakes. To use: Heat in toaster or microwave.

Oatmeal Pancake recipe | Breakfast by Salt's Cure | Simply Simmons
Thank you so much Salt's Cure for providing me with this recipe, this was my first time making and eating oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!
Pancake Ingredients:
-1 package of Salt's Cure Oatmeal Griddle Cake mix
-1 cup of water
-1 egg
Compound Butter:
-1 pack of Salt's Cure Cinnamon Molasses
-1 stick of butter
-1/4 cup of raisins
-1 tbs brown sugar
-1 tbs vanilla
Blend the molasses packet, 1 tbs of brown sugar, 1/4 cup chopped raisins, and butter in a small mixer to create the compound butter.
Take griddle cake batter out of the fridge and move to the stove in a cast iron pan.
Add a little vegetable oil into the pan over medium heat.
Pour some batter into the hot pan just like you would with a regular pancake.
Flip the griddle cake when it starts to bubble and is golden brown on the bottom.
Serve the oatmeal pancake with the compound butter overtop and enjoy!

The original Salt's Cure was established in Los Angeles back in 2010. It immediately became known as a hip & trendy breakfast spot with lines out the door for their beloved OG oatmeal griddle cakes. Since then they have expanded their menu to include different types of flavored griddle cakes, as well as other breakfast items. With two successful restaurants in Los Angeles, the owners decided to bless NYC with their first East Coast location in 2021 here in the West Village. We had to see for ourselves just how good their famous griddle cakes are. Come along for this food adventure!
