How To make Sloppy Joes a La Bobby
3 Pounds ground beef
1 Cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic -- minced
1 1/2 Cups ketchup
1 Cup chopped green pepper
1/2 Cup water
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
4 Tablespoons prepared mustard
4 tablespoons vinegar
4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons chili pepper
Hamburger buns
In a large skillet brown ground beef, onion and garlic. Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. In any size Crock-Pot, combine ketchup, green pepper, water, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder. Stir in meat mixture. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours. Spoon onto hamburger buns.
YIELD: 8-10 servings
VARIATION: Substitute ground turkey, chicken or pork for ground beef.

HERE'S THE RECIPE:
-Brown 2 pounds of ground beef
--Drain & set aside
-Dice up a large white onion
-Dice up large red bell pepper
--Set both aside
-Melt tbsp of coconut oil in a clean skillet (not the same skillet as the browned ground beef)
--Add diced onion and pepper
---Cook until both onion and pepper are tender and the onion is translucent
--Next add 6 ounce can of tomato paste
--1/2 cup of chicken broth
--1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
--1 tbsp Tony's Cajun seasoning
-Then add browned ground beef into the mixture
--Stir occasionally for about 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens
-Spoon mixture onto lettuce leaves and eat up! Think tacos and/or PF Changs lettuce wraps.

RECIPE:
1.5 pounds cherry tomatoes
5 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon unrefined salt & fresh pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 block of feta cheese(8 ounces)
12 ounces pasta(I used brown rice spirals)
Preheat oven to 400F convection if you have, otherwise regular bake is fine. Add the tomatoes to a 9x13 baking dish along with the oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano. Mix well and place the feta in the middle(touching the bottom of the pan) and bake for 30 minutes.
Boil pasta and keep warm in some reserved pasta water in the pot. After 30 minutes, use a potato masher or large spoon to mash the tomatoes with the feta, add pasta, mix well. Add some fresh herbs if you have and enjoy!

Ingredients
1 pound extra lean (95%) ground beef
3/4 cup Picante Sauce
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 green onions, sliced )about 1/4 cup, optional)
5 light hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted
Instructions
In a large skillet set over medium high heat, cook the beef, stirring and breaking up the meat, until it is browned, 5 to 10 minutes.
Add the picante sauce, barbecue sauce and green onions (if using) into the skillet. Stir to combine.
Cook, stirring often, until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
Divide the beef mixture evenly among the five buns.
