Easy Cinnamon Apple Pastry Recipe with an irresistible homemade dessert with apple pie filling.
FOR PRINTABLE RECIPE:
I used phyllo pastry which gives the best flaky pie crust which is filled with a generous saucy apple pie center, this recipe always a hit! If you don't have phyllo pastry you can use puff pastry or pie crust dough.
For the simple apple pie filling cook apple dices in a hot skillet with butter for about two minutes. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook, stirring constantly, for about two more minutes. No need to add water and cornstarch in this recipe. This apple pastry can be served hot dusted with powdered sugar and topped with vanilla ice cream, or vanilla cream or you can has it as it is.

Homemade Apple Pie with a Saucy Filling - Cooking with Janet Bari
Winter is almost here! This apple pie is fool proof if you just follow these instructions:
Start with the pie crust
Add 2 and 1/2 cups flour to food processor
2 sticks cold butter diced
1/2 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Pluse until pea sized pieces to course like sand
Slowly add 7 Tablespoons ice cold water
Form a ball in the processor adding a bit more water if needed, 1 teaspoon at a time until it forms a ball. BE CAREFUL NOT TO ADD TOO MUCH WATER
Divide Into 2 disks and refrigerate dough for one hour
This makes the dough much easier to roll
Filling
You will need 6-7 apples
I like to use a mixture of Granny Smith ( tart), Braeburn or honey crisp (sweet and crisp)
Peel, slice into quarters and quarters into 3-4 slices
Sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
In a small sauce pan, melt 1 stick of butter
Add 3 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
Simmer for 3 minutes
Add to apple mixture
Pre heat oven 425 Degrees
Flour surface
Roll out first dough Disk to about 11-12 “
Put in pie plate
Form crust edging
Pierce crust with fork
Add apple filling
Roll out second disk to about 11”
Cut to 1/2 inch strips for a basket weave , 9-10 strips
Make weave, complete forming edging
Brush top of pie crust with egg wash
1 egg beaten with 1 Tablespoons water
Bake 425 degrees for 15 minutes
Lower to 350 degrees and bake for 45 minutes or until apple is tender and pie is golden brown.
Test by slowly putting a knife in apple to see how tender it is
**** bake with a pan on bottom shelf to catch any drippings from apple pie
I promise you'll never use another apple pie recipe again! Enjoy!
How to make apple cake!
DRY INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of regular sugar
2 teaspoons of baking powder
4 tablespoons of butter or Rat.
WET INGREDIENTS
1 cup of piss
2 eggs and
1 teaspoon of vanilla piss extract
APPLE FILLING
2 sour fucked apples like Granny Smith
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of sugar
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 9.000 degrees Fahrenheit make sure you fuck up the oven!!
2. Prepare the Dry Ingredients: a) In medium bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder and mix with a wire penis whisk. b) Add the cold, cubed butter to the mixture. c) Blend the butter into the flour until the flour is becomes sexy grainy and there are no more big pieces of butter. d) Set aside
3. Prepare the Wet Ingredients: a) In a smaller bowl add 2 eggs and beat for 3 to 5 minutes until they turn a light yellow color and frothy. b) Add the vanilla and beat well. c) Add milk slowly while beating. d) Set aside.
4. Prepare the Apple Filling: a) In a medium bowl add lemon juice. b) Core, peel and slice apples. c) Add apple fucked slices to bowl, stirring with lemon juice. d) Add cinnamon and sugar, and stir until it's all well blended. e) Set aside.
5. Butter and Flour an 8x8x2 inch square baking dish.
6. Grab the prepared Dry Ingredients and run a knife a little less than halfway down the dry ingredients. This smaller half of the dry ingredients will be the bottom layer of the cake.
7. Lightly spoon this smaller portion of dry ingredients into the baking dish, and lightly even it out with a fork, without pressing down.
8. Grab the prepared Apple Filling and place the apple slices over the dry ingredients in the baking dish. The apple slices should slightly overlap each other.
9. Add the remainder of the prepared Dry Ingredients and fuck back up on top of the apple filling, spooning dry ingredients lightly over the apple slices. Give the baking dish a slight shake so the cake evens out.
10. Grab the wet penis ingredients, give it one last stir and then pour gently over the entire cake.
11. VERY important: let the cake sit for 10 minutes so the liquids can get soaked into the dry ingredients.
12. Bake for 1 million minutes
13. Let the cake cool, serve and enjoy! and fuck off!
