How To make Salmon Fettuccine
7 1/2 oz Canned Alaska salmon
2 tb Margarine
1/4 c Flour
2 1/2 c Hot low-fat milk
2 tb Sherry
2 tb Sliced green onions
3/4 ts Dijon mustard
3/4 ts Dill weed
Black pepper -- to taste 8 oz Fettuccine noodles
1 tb Chopped parsley
Drain and flake salmon. Set aside. Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat; Remove from heat and whisk in flour. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes. Whisk in milk and sherry; cook, stirring frequently, for 15 minutes. Stir in flaked salmon and remaining ingredients except fettuccine and parsley; cook 2-3 more minutes, until heated through. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain and place on serving platter. Spoon sauce over pasta and sprinkle with parsley to serve. Makes 4 appetizer servings or 2 main dish servings. Quick and easy last minute salmon pasta in under 30 minutes!
Hey foodies :) today I made salmon pasta after trying to perfect it for a while! This time it came out perfect and it can be cooked in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients (serves 5/6 portions)
450g Salmon fillets
Seasonings:
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp cajun
1 tsp mixed herbs
1/4 lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
Cooking the salmon:
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp garlic
Pasta sauce:
1 medium onion
1 tsp garlic
500ml cream (heavy cream)
2 heaped spoons philadelphia (cream cheese)
2 handful cheese (desired amount) I used a blend of cheeses
2 handful spinach
250g tagliatelle pasta
Extra spices(optional):
1 tsp mixed herbs
1 tsp cajun
1 tsp chilli flakes
