Persian Love Cake | Rose Pistachio Cake
Persian love cake is moist, spongy and will enchant you with its exotic flavors of rose, cardamom and saffron. Luxuriously packed with almonds and sprinkled with pistachios, it is so easy to make!

✅ PERSIAN LOVE CAKE INGREDIENTS
CAKE
6 tbsp ghee or butter
6 tbsp olive oil light
1 cup sugar
5 eggs large
1 cup yogurt thick, Greek style, reduced fat
2 tbsp rose water
2 tsp green cardamom ground
1 cup almond flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup semolina flour (I use Bob's Red Mill brand)
2 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
3 tbsp almonds sliced
SYRUP
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup orange juice
2 tbsp rose water
1/2 tsp saffron ground
2 tbsp pistachios slivered
✅ INSTRUCTIONS

0:32 Combine oil and ghee. Add sugar and whisk it all until creamy.
0:52 Then add eggs and whisk it very well.
1:05 Next, add yogurt and whisk it all into a fluffy mixture.
1:27 Add rose water, ground cardamom and stir it in.
1:42 Sift almond flour, all purpose flour and semolina, one by one and lightly whisk it in.
2:52 Sprinkle baking powder, a pinch salt and stir it in.
3:08 Pour cake batter into greased 10 inch springform cake pan lined with parchment paper. Scatter almond slices over cake batter.
3:52 Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes until golden on top.
3:55 To make the syrup, combine honey, orange juice and bring it to a boil.
4:14 Lower the heat and let it simmer. Stir in rose water and ground saffron. Turn off the heat and add pistachios.
5:02 Using a thin wooden skewer, poke fine holes all over the cake.
5:16 Pour warm syrup over warm cake and let the syrup soak in for several hours or overnight.

Today I'm sharing one of the traditional dessert recipe of Kuwait which is called Gers Ogaily. Gers Ogaily or perfume cake, is considered a very popular traditional cake in kuwait, a kuwaiti cake that is distinguished with its aromatic scent due to the addition of saffron, cardamom, rose water and toasted sesame seeds flavor notes. Do try out this aromatic cake recipe you will love it.

GERS OGAILY
Ingredients:
1. Plain flour 2cups
2. Butter unsalted melted 100gms or 1/2cup
3. Milk 1cup
4. Eggs 4 room temperature
5. Sugar 1-1/2cup
6. Saffron strings 1/2tsp
7. sugar 1tsp
8. Warm milk 2tbsp
9. Salt 1/2tsp
10. Baking powder 1-1/2tsp
11. Sesame seeds 2tbsp
12. Cardamom powder 1tsp
13. Rose water 1tsp
.
Method:
1. In a bowl add saffron strings, sugar and warm milk and mix well set aside.
2. In another bowl add all dry ingredients flour, baking powder, salt and sesame seeds and mix well set aside.
3. in another bowl add eggs and sugar and beat until triple in volume and then add dry and wet ingredients one after the other.
4. Fold clockwise direction and pour ingreased and dust with flour bundt pan and tap to avoid air bubbles and bake at 180*C for about 35 minutes.
5. Make icing with only two ingredients Icing sugar 1/2cup and milk 1tbsp mix well and pour over cake and sprinkle sesame seeds and saffron strings.

Saffron Milk Cake | كيكة الزعفران | Tres Leches Cake Recipe | كعكة حليب الزعفران | Best kids Cake
Saffron Milk Cake / كيكة الزعفران or Tres Leches Cake is a fluffy soft & simple, heavenly delicious cake moistened with Saffron Milk.

Ingredients:
For the cake batter-
1 cup milk
1 tsp saffron
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
For Saffron Milk-
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp saffron
1/2 tin sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup cream
For the Piping-
250ml Whipping cream
Piping bag
Star nozzle

Method:
1- Take 1 cup warm milk to it add 1 tsp of saffron & keep this aside.
2-In a large mixing bowl take sugar, eggs, oil & vanilla essence
3-Whisk all together then add saffron milk prepared earlier
4-Add the flour & baking powder 5-Whisk well & cake batter is ready
6- Grease a baking dish & coat it with some flour. Dust out excess flour
7-Bake the cake in a preheated oven 180°c for 30-45 mins or until a skewer inserted comes out clean
8- Prepare the saffron milk, for that, heat 2 cups milk
9- To it add 1/2 tsp of saffron
10- Let it boil for 5-7 mins
11-Add 1/2 tin of sweetened condensed milk
12- Stir for 1-2 mins
13- Add 1/2 cup cream
14- Stir until the cream dissolves
15- Remove from the heat & let it cool down completely
16- Take out the cake from the oven let it rest for 5-7 mins
17-Prick the cake with a wooden skewer
18-Pour half of the quantity of saffron milk on to the cake
19- Whip cream & prepare a piping bag with star nozzle
20- Pipe the cream on the cake & then sprinkle some saffron on top
21-Cover it & refrigerate for 30mins
22-Cut a slice , pour saffron milk & serve it.
