How To make Rose and Poppy Seed Pasta
10 oz Pasta shells; 275 g
2 tb Sunflower oil
1 ea Onion; sliced in thin rings
2 ea Garlic cloves; crushed
2 ts Poppy seeds
Sea salt & black pepper 1 ts Red rose petals; heaped
Cook the pasta shells in plenty of boiling, salted water until al dente. Drain, toss in a little sunflower oil and keep warm. Put the remaining oil in a pan with the onion rings and sweat gently until the onion is soft but not browned. Lift out the onion with a slotted spoon and mix with the pasta shells. Put the garlic into the oil in which the onions were cooked and fry, stirring for 1 minute. Mix the cooked garlic into the pasta. Toss the pasta in a warmed serving bowl or dish and sprinkle over the poppy seeds and seasoning to taste. Just before serving, throw in the rose petals.

These lemon-poppy seed muffins are bursting with a summery citrus flavor. With a super soft and fluffy texture, and the added crunchiness of the poppy seeds.

Ingredients: to make 12 muffins
- 2 eggs
- 6 tablespoons *(80 gr) unsalted butter
-1/2 cup (100 gr) of white sugar
-1/4 cup (50 gr) of brown sugar
-grated zest of 2 lemons
-juice of 1 lemon
-1/2 cup (120 ml) of milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
-2 tablespoons (20 gr) of poppy seeds
-pinch of salt
-2 1/2 cups (375 gr) of all-purpose flour
-1 tablespoon (16 gr) of baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-1 tablespoon of coarse sugar or white sparkling sugar for decorating (optional)
How to make Citrus and poppy seeds loaf
This characteristic bread with poppy seeds and citrus is very common in European countries, it is very aromatic and delicious.
INGREDIENTS
2 cups of (250 grams) flour
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
11 g of yeast
35 grams of sugar
1/2 cup + 1 tbsp (130ml) of warm milk
1/25 grams of unsalted butter
1 small egg
1 tbsp. of lemon zest and orange
1/2 tsp. of salt (vanilla)
Filling
1/3 cup (55ml) of milk
3 tbsp. of sugar
50 g. of Poppyseed
1 tbsp.of (semola) semolina
1 vanilla pod
1 tbsp. of lemon zest and orange
2 tbsp. of rum (optional)
