How To make Poppy Seed Casserole
1 Pound turkey breast
ground
1/3 Cup onion :
chopped
1/2 Cup green bell pepper chopped
2 Cups tomato sauce
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon italian seasoning
8 Ounces fettucine :
cooked
8 Ounces neufchatel cheese -- cubed
1 Cup nonfat cottage cheese
1/2 Cup nonfat sour cream
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
In a large skillet, cook the turkey, onion and green pepper until the meat is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender. Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, pepper and italian seasoning.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in boiling water without added salt or oil.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the neufchatel cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream and poppy seeds. Toss the cheese mixture with the cooked pasta.
Layer pasta mixture in the bottom of a 9x13x2 baking dish. Spoon the meat mixture down the center of pasta mixture. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes. Uncover the casserole and bake for an additional 10 minutes more or until the casserole is heated through.

Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole Recipe
In today's tip I give you my family's favorite comfort food casserole. Here's the recipe so you can enjoy with your family, too!
Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole
Ingredients:
3 c. cooked, cubed or shredded chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 T. lemon juice
1 T. cooking sherry
1 c. instant rice
poppy seeds
lemon pepper
1 sleeve Ritz crackers
1 stick butter, melted
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the first 8 ingredients together until fully combined. Transfer to a casserole dish. Sprinkle generously with poppy seeds and lemon pepper. Crush the Ritz crackers and combine with the melted butter. Spread these over the top of your casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until bubbly around the edges and golden brown. Enjoy!

Martin's Makes | Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole
Whether you're living alone or with a large family, this Poppy Seed Chicken Casserole recipe is perfect for feeding many mouths or providing leftovers for the week!
Ingredients
-6 Slices Martin’s Potato Bread, made into breadcrumbs (2 cups)
-3 Pounds Chicken Breast, cooked and shredded
-1 ½ Cups Sour Cream
-3 10.75-ounce Cans Cream of Chicken Soup
-½ Cup Butter, melted
-1 Tablespoon Poppy Seeds
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Spread breadcrumbs evenly over a cooking sheet and place in the oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown in color and slightly crispy.
Step 3
Place chicken in 9×13 casserole dish.
Step 4
Stir together chicken soup, sour cream. Pour over chicken and mix lightly until integrated.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, stir together breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over chicken mixture. Then, sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
Step 6
Bake casserole for 20-30 minutes until top of casserole is browned and sauce is bubbly. Serve warm.
Step 7
Note: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for 3-4 days.

Ingredients:
For the dough:
2 cups (250g) Flour
1/2 cup (115g) Butter
1/2 cup (100g) Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Salt
For the filling:
750ml Milk
1 cup (250g) Ricotta cheese
7 tablespoons (100g) Butter
3/4 cup (150g) Sugar
1 cup + 1 Tbsp (150g) Poppy seeds
1 cup (140g) Semolina
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 Egg
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C).
2. Make the dough: in a food processor place flour, sugar and salt. Pulse until combined. add butter and process until crumbs are formed. Press 2/3 of the mixture into bottom of 9-inch (23cm) springform pan. Refrigerate while making the filling.
3. Make the filling: place milk, butter and sugar to a saucepan. Heat until butter is melted and sugar dissolves, bring to a boil.
4. When the mixture begins to boil, gradually add semolina, stirring constantly. Add poppy seeds. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens. set aside to cool.
5. In a large bowl beat ricotta cheese, vanilla extract and egg until creamy and smooth. Add chilled poppy seed mixture to the cheese mixture and stir until combined and smooth.
6. Pour the filling over the chilled crust, then spread the remaining dough on top.
7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven, let cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Notes:
• Instead of ricotta cheese you can use cottage cheese/cream cheese or any other soft cheese.
• To the filling you can add raisins and walnuts.
