Delicious Ravioli Soup
This hearty yummy soup is easy to make and a perfect soup for dinner.
Ingredients
4 cups chicken broth
1 can tomato sauce
1 pound ground Italian sausage
1 medium chopped yellow onion
1 chopped red and green bell pepper
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1/2 bag of frozen ravioli
1 cup fresh kale

Creamy Ravioli Soup
Ravioli is delicious with sauce, but have you tried it in soup? If not, this 30-minute, weeknight friendly dish from Alissa DiSanto is a must-make on a chilly night.
Swimming with fresh Italian sausage, a bounty of veggies and a slew of spices, the real star of this soup is Heinen’s fresh four cheese ravioli. Located in the refrigerated deli case, the cheesy inner filling adds rich heartiness to the tomato-based, cream-infused broth.

Creamy Ravioli Soup
Serves 6
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. butter
1 onion, diced
1 carrot, sliced into coins
1 lb. Heinen’s CARE Certified ground Italian sausage
Salt and pepper
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 28 oz. can Heinen’s crushed tomatoes
1 qt. (4 cups) Heinen’s chicken stock
20 oz. Heinen’s fresh four cheese ravioli
6 cups Heinen’s baby spinach
2 cups half & half
½ cup parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large stock pot over medium heat. Add the onions and carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until they begin to soften. Stir in the sausage and break it into small bits. Cook until browned, approximately 4-5 minutes.
2. Stir in the garlic, dried basil and oregano. Cook for 2 more minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes and chicken stock. Bring to a boil.
3. Stir in the ravioli and cook for 2 minutes. Fresh ravioli cooks very fast and will continue to cook as they sit in the broth, so keep an eye on them.
4. Stir in the baby spinach and cook until the just wilted, approximately 2 minutes.
5. Stir in the half & half and return to a simmer. Taste for salt and pepper and adjust accordingly.
6. Turn off the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese.
7. Divide amongst six bowls, garnish with extra parmesan cheese and serve with fresh bread from Heinen’s Bakery to dunk in the flavorful broth!

This creamy soup takes just 20 minutes to get on the table so it's a wonderful recipe to have on hand for those crazy busy weeknights. Plus, it's even better the second day! It's picky-eater friendly comfort food that the whole family will love.

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef, 90/10 or 95/5
25 ounces arrabbiata pasta sauce, or your favorite pasta sauce
4 cups chicken stock
20 ounces cheese ravioli, frozen
6 cups baby spinach, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated - plus more for garnish
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a large stock pot cook ground beef until no longer pink.
Drain grease, if needed.
Add chicken stock and arriabiata sauce and bring to a boil.
Add ravioli and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until ravioli is just tender.
Stir in chopped spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until spinach wilts.
Slowly stir in heavy cream.
Let soup come back up to a simmer and add the Parmesan cheese.
Taste to check seasoning and add more salt and pepper if desired.
Top each serving with a bit more Parmesan.
