Fried Pumpkin Donut Holes Recipe
If you’re in the mood for donuts but don’t want to make huge ones, donut holes are always a good alternative. Of course, you’ll likely find yourself eating a bunch of them anyway, but it at least feels like you’re eating less. You could use traditional flavors, but if you really want a good fall flavor, you should try making them with pumpkin. There are all kinds of pumpkin-flavored things you can find in the fall, but it’s hard to beat the sweetness of a pumpkin dessert. Ingredients
1 and 3/4 cup (220g) all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground dried ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (230g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (110g) light brown sugar
1/2 cup light olive oil
3 eggs at room temperature
1 cup cooked pumpkin puree
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For the topping:
4 oz butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2-3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 °F, 180 °C.
Lightly grease a donut tin with melted butter.
Place the flour, salt, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and baking powder in a bowl and whisk them together.
In a large bowl, add the remaining ingredients and whisk together until smooth. Add the flour mixture in 2-3 batches and mix until incorporated.
Fill the wells of the donut pan no more than 3/4 full with the batter.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes. The donuts are baked when they are springy to the touch.
While the dontuts are baking combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl and whisk together.
As soon as the frst batch is ready, carefully remove the donuts from the pan and set on clean work surface (cutting board). Grease the wells of the pan and fill 3/4 full with more batter and bake.
Brush the warm donuts all around with melted butter and dip them in the cinnamon sugar. Transfer to a platter and serve with coffee.

Hi lovelies, nothing says more fall than pumpkin, or what do you think? ???? And since it cannot be just salty and savory recipes all the time I decided to try making pumpkin donuts. I must admit I was very sceptical about this recipe and how I will like it. I used my baked banana donuts recipe as the base for this recipe and just replaced banana with pumpkin puree. That smell when these donuts came out of the oven and that beautiful yellow-orange color???? I was sold right away! But taste is the most important factor, or? And these donuts surprised me with their softness and deliciousness????????????I must also say if I would have not known there is pumpkin in them, I would have never guessed it. The gorgeous pumpkin brings that beautiful color to the donuts and makes them super sofr???? Once you try one, you cannot keep your fingers of these bad boys???????? RECIPE
2 eggs
150g sugar
2tbsp (30g) melted butter
150g pumpkin puree
120ml kefir
250g flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
some royal icing for decoration (recipe link below)
crushed hazelnuts for decoration
Bake the donuts in 220°C in the middle shelf of the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the donuts start to get golden from the top.
Royal icing (you will need a very small portion, but you can use the rest of royal icing for decorating cookies or any other baked goods).

For the dough:
❥ 210ml warm whole milk
❥ 2 1/2 tbsps granulated sugar
❥ 15ml vanilla extract
❥ 6g instant yeast
❥ 1 egg 1 egg yolk, room temperature
❥ 375g all purpose flour
❥ 55g unsalted room temperature
butter, cubed
For the filling:
❥ 115g room temperature cubed cream cheese
❥ 80g pure pumpkin purée, room temperature
❥ 80g granulated sugar
❥ 100g COLD heavy cream (35%)
❥ 1 tsp cinnamon
For the cinnamon sugar:
❥ 1 cup granulated sugar
❥ 1 tsp ground cinnamon
