Kohlkuchen:
1/2 Kohl (800 Gramm).
1 Ei.
2 Esslöffel Reis- oder Weizenmehl.
Salz.
Kartoffelkuchen:
2 Kartoffeln.
1 Ei.
1 Esslöffel Reismehl (kann Weizen sein).
Petersilie.
Salz.
Thunfischfüller in Dosen.
1 Dose Thunfisch aus der Dose.
2 gekochte Eier.
Ein Haufen Frühlingszwiebeln.
Pfeffer.
70 Gramm Käse.
1 Tomate.
Olivenöl zum Braten.

Thank you Anne West for allowing me to tweak your recipe. I hope you like my variation which I call Comfort Stew. I made 3 changes to Anne's original recipe as follows:
1) instead of cooking the cabbage and potatoes in a crock pot I cooked them in a pressure cooker
2) I caramelized the onions first
3) I used 4 tablespoons of the white balsamic vinegar instead of 1.5 tablespoons
Anne brought a delicious dish of potatoes, cabbage and onions to a potluck. She made it in a slow cooker. I wanted to make it in the Instant Pot because when I put the 3 large onions one white, one yellow and one sweet) that the recipe called for into my crock pot it was full so I couldn't fit in the large amount of potatoes and cabbage the recipe called for. I figured since the onions were already in the crock pot I would just cook them in their using a recipe I saw here:
When the onions were done I drained them and put them aside and put their liquid in the 8 quart Instant Pot along with 2 pounds of red potatoes, cut into fourths, and a huge head of sliced cabbage. I added 2 teaspoons of minced garlic and 2 teaspoons of mustard seeds. I cooked on high pressure for 10 minutes. Release the pressure and stir in the caramelized onions and 4 Tablespoons of a reduced WHITE balsamic vinegar.
This was delicious served over rice.

Ingredients:
1/2 cabbage, cut up
1 medium onion, sliced or chopped
salt & pepper to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
or 1 cup homemade cream of chicken soup, recipe below
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 stick of butter, melted and divided
1 sleeve butter crackers, I used Ritz
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Add cabbage, cut up, to casserole dish, 8X8 or 9X9. Scatter cut onions on top of cabbage. Salt and pepper to taste. Using 4 Tablespoons of melted butter, sprinkle over cabbage and onions. Combine cream of chicken soup and mayonnaise. Spread over cabbage. Crush crackers and combine with remaining butter. Spread over cabbage and soup mixture. Bake 45-55 minutes or until cabbage and onions are tender and bubbly.
Homemade Chicken Soup
4 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 chicken boullion cube, or 1 tsp Better Than Boullion
1 cup milk
1/3 tsp onion powder
1/3 tsp garlic powder
1/3 tsp salt
1/3 tsp pepper
Heat milk in microwave for 45 seconds. This will prevent curdling and lumps when added. Set aside.
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat, about 3 minutes or until butter foams. Add flour gradually, whisking well. Remove from heat.
Add chicken broth a little at a time, whisking well after each addition. Add boullion, milk, and seasonings.
Return to heat and cook until soup begins to thicken. It will thicken more as it cools.
Easy Baked Cabbage and Potatoes. 5 min prep time ,super easy and always a favorite!
Excellent baked in the oven or on the grill! Here's how it goes together:
5-6 Medium Potatoes, peeled, sliced thin(I use the food processor)
1 Medium Head of Cabbage-cut in large pieces
1 Medium Onion(your choice)
salt and pepper(to taste)
garlic and seasoning salt (to taste)
stick of butter
Spray Pan, add potatoes, cabbage and onions. Season each layer. Put pats of butter on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 45 minutes or until potatoes are done. Stir every 15 minutes.
Great as a side or you could add ham or sausage to make an all in one meal!

• cabbage – 14 oz | 400 g
• potato – 1 lb | 450 g
• vegetable oil – 4 tbsp
• onion – 5 oz | 150 g
• carrot – 4,5 oz | 130 g
• 1 bell pepper
• 1 red chili pepper
• red chili flakes – 1 tsp
• ground black pepper – 1 tsp
• salt – 1 tsp
• cheddar cheese – 7 oz | 200 g
Sauce:
• 3 eggs
• milk – ⅔ cup | 170 ml
• sour cream – 6 oz | 170 g
• vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
• fresh parsley – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• all-purpose flour – 4 tbsp
• baking powder – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• salt – 1 tsp

• oven
• baking dish 9,5*14*2 in | 24*35*5 cm
• pan with a lid
• cutting board
???? Preparation:
1. Cut the potato, onion and bell pepper into small dices, the white cabbage and carrot into thin strips and chop up the parsley.
2. Heat a pan with 3 tbsp of vegetable oil, add the onion and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
3. Add the potato, stir, cover with a lid and fry over low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Then add the white cabbage, carrot, bell and chili pepper, cover with the lid and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat stirring occasionally.
5. Add the ground black pepper, red chili flakes and salt, stir, cover the lid and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
6. Cool down the fried veggies.
7. In a bowl whish 3 eggs, add the milk, sour cream, salt and vegetable oil and stir. Add the flour and baking powder, stir well with the whisk until smooth, add the chopped-up parsley and stir.
8. Brush a baking dish with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and lay out the fried veggies, add the sauce, combine and spread evenly within the dish.
9. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F / 180°C.
10. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for another 5 minutes at 350°F / 180°C.
11. Serve the potato and cabbage casserole hot.
❗️Advices:
1. Cheddar can be changed for mozzarella.
2. Add any veggies to your taste to casserole.
3. Serve with sour cream and favorite sauces
