2 cups of Basil
1 cup of Parsley
1 large Jalapeño
1/3 cup of Pine nuts
2-3 Tbsp of Garlic

1/2 lb jalapenos
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 cup neutral cooking oil (vegetable oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc. NO OLIVE OIL)
1/2 bunch of cilantro (optional)
1/2 lime juiced
1 tsp mexican oregano (optional)
1 tsp kosher salt
2 clove Garlic

garlic,
jalapeños,
onions,
cumin,
salt,
lemon juice
How much or how little of these item you use depends on you. This combination of fresh vegetables will provide a sauce/pesto to put on everything savory you make. Jalapeno Pesto
In a blender add:
2 – 3 Jalapenos (remove stems)
½ packed cup of basil leaves
1 tbsp Pine Nuts
1 tbsp shaved parmesan cheese (optional)
¼ cup olive oil (add more once blending has commenced, if needed)
Blend until you have the desired consistency.
Decant into a jar and place in the fridge.
Keeps for approximately 2 – 3 months.
