How To make Peanuts and Slivers
2 lb Peanuts, raw, shelled and
Skinned, about 6 cups 6 Whole heads fresh garlic
Peeled and sliced to make About 2 1/2 cups slivered Garlic. Vegetable oil for French Frying peanuts and garlic Separately Salt to taste Place peanuts in wok that has been preheated with oil to medium-high. Make sure there is enough oil in wok to cover peanuts. Stir peanuts constantly, being careful not to burn them. As peanuts begin to brown slightly, lower heat to simmer, continuing to stir, and cook until light golden brown. Drain peanuts well in wire basket and let cool. Place garlic in skillet pre-heated with 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil until it reaches medium-high. Stir garlic constantly to attain a consistent color and to prevent burning or sticking of garlic. As garlic browns slightly, reduce heat to low and continue to stir and cook until garlic is crisp and light golden brown. Drain garlick in the same manner as peanuts, breaking up any cluster. Cool. Combine peanuts and garlic and salt to taste. Store in airtight containers until ready to devour!

EASY Peanut Butter Satay Noodles!
This recipe relies heavily on some of my favourite Asian store cupboard ingredients and is a brilliant go to Friday night fakeaway dish!
Serves: 4
Ingredients (US & METRIC):
300g/ 10 oz flat rice noodles
2 tbsp groundnut or vegetable oil
1 long red chilli, finely sliced
3cm/ 1” piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into thin matchsticks
2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 bunch spring onions, roughly chopped
500g/ 18 oz pork mince
200g/ 7 oz sugar snap peas
150g/ 5 oz tat soi or bok choi, sliced
Large handful coriander leaves
Small handful peanuts, roughly chopped
For the dressing:
4 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
Juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp soft brown sugar

Seems to be mostly unavailable in the West. Found this on Amazon, however:

This is at many Chinese supermarkets, such as 99 Ranch and TNT, but is harder to find online.

There have been sightings of this product at Chinese supermarkets in the West. A little hard to find online.
#15 - Spicy Salted Cabbage 香辣菜
Alt Names: Salt Chili Vegetable
