The MOST FLAVOURFUL Noodles EVER | Chili Oil Peanut Noodles
LAY HO MA! Noodles are definitely life, but this noodle recipe is not only easy to put together it's fragrant, savoury, and super delicious. Join me in this episode and learn how to make an easy Chinese style chili oil peanut butter noodles recipe right at home. Let's begin
Ingredients:
1/4lb flat rice noodles
10g cilantro
2 sticks green onion
10g basil
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp chili oil (
1/4 cup peanuts
1 tsp white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Bring a kettle of water to boil for the noodles
2. Pour the boiling hot water onto the noodles. Then, cover and let the noodles cook for about 8-10mins
3. Finely chop the cilantro, green onion, and basil
4. Make the sauce by whisking together the peanut butter, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, chili oil, and a splash of the hot water from the noodles
5. Heat up a frying pan to medium heat
6. Add and toast the peanuts for 2-3min. Then, add the white sesame seeds, turn off the heat, and swirl the nuts and seeds around for a few seconds
7. Transfer the peanuts, sesame seeds, and herbs to the sauce. Then, drain out the noodles and add to the sauce
8. Gently toss the noodles, then plate and serve

Udon noodles at home (chili peanut sauce recipe)
Today we are making udon noodles at home with a spicy and flavorful chili peanut sauce. You can use store bought noodles to make this a quick easy weeknight meal that can be thrown together in minutes. But making your own udon is worth all the effort and then some. I will show you my techniques for rolling and cutting the noodles. This peanut sauce recipe is super quick and easy. It uses any peanut butter you like and combines it with asian flavors of korean red chili flakes (gochukaru), soy, sesame oil and vinegar. Enjoy!
Noodle ingredients:
400 g flour (bread flour or all purpose flour)
200 mL water
8 g salt
Sauce ingredients:
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp gochukaru - Korean red chili flakes
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
3 tbsp water plus more noodle cooking water to finish the noodle dish

This is how we make Nam Prik, This is normally used with fish but it works for anything IMO, We also add crushed pan roosted peanuts and turn it into a peanut sauce, That stuff is delicious, I think it would make a good salad dressing.
