If you have ripe peaches that need to get used up before they go bad, make peach pie filling and freeze it for later! Freezing it directly in the pie plate makes it so easy to bake when you're ready for a yummy pie, because it's the perfect size and shape to put directly into your prepared pie crust!
You can make a peach pie with frozen peaches any time of the year!
One important tip when baking a pie with a frozen filling: decrease your oven temperature by 25°F and increase your bake time about 10-15 minutes. This will allow the filling to completely bake through.
