How To make Pasta with Mizithra
1/2 c Olive oil
4 x Garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 lb Dry pasta, cooked/drained
1/2 c Parmesan, freshly grated
1/2 c Mizithra cheese,fresh grated
Salt and pepper to taste 1/4 c Parsley, chopped for garnish
Bring the water for the pasta to boil and prepare everything else. It's important to never overcook pasta. Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan and add the chopped garlic. Saute for just a moment and set aside. Boil the pasta until just barely tender. Drain and toss with all ingredients. Serve as a side dish in the place of another starch.

INGREDIENTS
16 oz spaghetti 1 box
1/2 c butter unsalted
1/4 lb mizithra cheese
parsley garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare & drain spaghetti.
Heat skillet to medium, add butter in chunks.
Whisking, monitor the butter until it turns brown & has a nutty aroma, careful not to burn it.
Remove the foam & toss with spaghetti.
Top with freshly shredded mizithra cheese & garnish with parsley.

A traditional Greek dish popular in Peloponnese, Greece especially due to the unique flavor of the dry mizithra cheese. The use of olive oil instead of the butter with the blend of the thick pastitsio style spaghetti and the mizithra cheese brings out an authentic Greek phenomenon.
RECIPE IN GREEK AND ENGLISH
ΣΥΝΤΑΓΗ ΣΤΑ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ
Greek Pasta with Mizithra & Hot Olive Oil
Ingredients
o 500 Greek pastitsio No. 2 pasta
o 1/2 cup olive oil
o ½-1 cup mizithra cheese grated
Μακαρόνια με Μυζήθρα
Instructions
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Rinse the spaghetti and drain.
2. To prepare the pasta, layer some mizithra cheese into the bottom of a dish. Then add some pasta on top of the cheese. Continue the process until the dish is full.
3. Heat up the olive oil until hot and then pour it over the pasta dish.
Υλικά
500 γρ. μακαρόνια no.2 παστίτσιου
½ κούπα ελαιόλαδο
1 κούπα μυζήθρα ξηρή τριμμένη
Εκτέλεση
1. Μαγειρεύουμε τα μακαρόνια ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες παρασκευής πάνω στο πακέτο.
2. Σε ένα μεγάλο πυρέξ στρώνουμε τον πάτο με μυζήθρα κατόπιν τοποθετούμε μια στρώση μακαρόνια και ακολουθούμε με μια στρώση μυζήθρας. Συνεχίζουμε τις στρώσεις έως ότου τελειώσουν τα μακαρόνια.
3. Καβουρντίζουμε το λάδι και το περιχύνουμε πάνω στα μακαρόνια και ανακατεύουμε.
