No Bake Lasagna
This is a request from one of my friends. So, I made my version of no bake Lasagna. This is by all means, not traditional but, simply easy to put together especially when you crave for lasagna. You can always, bake it or microwave before serving it. Print the recipe:
As always, you can adjust the ingredients according to your liking. For example, if you like garlic, go ahead and add more.

Classic NO-BOIL Lasagna - Old school recipe, uses REGULAR lasagna - Easy with ricotta, ground beef
We LOVE this no-boil lasagna recipe. You can use regular lasagna noodles. You don't have to buy the oven-ready kind. I first learned about this decades ago because my aunt used to make it for family reunions. I couldn't believe it when she told me it was the recipe from the back of a Mueller's pasta box!
Here is the full recipe, exactly as it appeared on boxes of Mueller's lasagna decades ago:
INGREDIENTS
8 oz. (1/2) package Mueller's® Lasagne, uncooked
15 oz. Ricotta cheese or 2 cups cottage cheese
2 cups Mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, lightly beaten
6 1/2 cups (52 ounces) of your favorite pasta sauce
1 lb. ground beef or Italian sausage, cooked and drained
1 tsp. parsley flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350º
2. In medium bowl, combine Ricotta cheese, 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and eggs; mix well.
3. In separate bowl, add browned meat to pasta sauce; mix well
4. Spread 1 cup of meat sauce mixture in 9 x 13 pan
5. Place 1/3 of the uncooked Lasagne noodles over sauce. Spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture over noodles, top with 1/3 of meat sauce mixture.
6. Repeat layering. Top with remaining noodles and meat sauce mixture.
7. Cover with foil. Bake 55 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with reserved Mozzarella cheese and parsley flakes.
8 Bake an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting and serving.
ENJOY!
No Boil Lasagna
Get the recipe here:
I really, really love lasagna, but I really don’t love dealing with boiling noodles and then trying to separate them before layering them and so on and so forth. So if I’m making lasagna, it’s always no-boil. Now, sure, the box usually has a recipe for you, but this particular recipe is a classic version that I keep coming back to. It’s a never-fail crowd-pleasing recipe that combines both beef and Italian sausage and three kinds of cheese for maximum flavor. But best of all? It’s incredibly easy to make.

How To Make The Best Homemade Lasagna | You'll Never Buy Frozen Lasagna Again After Trying This!
lasagna noodles
????????LASAGNA RECIPE????????
• 12oz Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles (NO BOIL lasagna noodles)
• 24 oz Mozzarella Cheese (use more or less as desired)
MEAT SAUCE
• 2.5 lbs ground beef
• 48 oz marinara sauce PLUS 1 cup of water (use a high quality sauce)
• 1/2 diced white onion
• 5 minced garlic cloves
• 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
• 1/2 Tbsp Beef Bouillon Powder
• 1 Tsp dried Basil
• 3/4 Tsp Cayenne Red Pepper
• 1/4 Tsp ground black pepper
• Salt (to taste)
• Fresh Parsley
• Sugar (This is not a rule! Please taste your sauce and use your best judgement if your sauce is very acidic then add sugar as needed)
CHEESE SAUCE (make to your taste)
• 15 oz whole milk Ricotta Cheese
• Grated Parmesan cheese
• Garlic powder
• Cajun seasoning (optional)
• Salt
• Fresh Parsley
• 1 egg (add last)
NOTE: I used a 13 x 9 1/2 inch casserole dish and baked for 1 hour, broiled for 3 minutes.
When making the meat sauce please taste as you go! If you prefer NOT to use Marinara Sauce then you may use any pasta sauce (e.g. garlic and herb, tomato and basil, tomato basil garlic ) and taste as you go..... meaning gradually add seasonings to your sauce and make any adjustments as desired.
If you prefer you may brown your meat and onions, add pasta sauce, THEN gradually add seasonings! The outcome of your lasagna is based on how well your meat sauce tastes. It's important that you use a high quality sauce and season to YOUR taste for BEST results! Enjoy ????
