Microwave Peanut Brittle ~ So Easy!!
Please like, share with your friends on social media and subscribe! It would be greatly appreciated! Enjoy your day!!
Be very careful! The dish you use and the mixture gets VERY HOT!! Also, wash your dish immediately because the peanut brittle sticks to it and makes it difficult to clean if it sits on it!!
In a microwave safe dish add:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Karo corn syrup
Mix together as best as you can!
Place in microwave for 4 minutes.
Mix in one cup of nuts (cashews, peanuts or almonds) I used cashews!
Place back in the microwave for 4 minutes.
Mix in 1 tsp butter and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Place back in microwave for 1 minutes 30 seconds.
Mix in 1 tsp baking soda and pour on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Let sit for 45 - 60 minutes to harden. Break into whatever size pieces you like!
Enjoy!
The EASIEST and YUMMIEST Microwave PEANUT BRITTLE
Peanut brittle is a delicious candy that is usually enjoyed during the holidays, but can be enjoyed any time of year. This microwave peanut brittle is super easy and quick to make for your family and friends.
I really like making this simple peanut brittle because it literally takes only 15 minutes start to end, and much of that time it is cooking in the microwave. Also, no candy thermometer is needed, rather you just look for the nice golden brown color.
Enjoy this yummy, crunchy, bubbly, golden brown, homemade peanut brittle candy!

10 Minute Peanut Brittle, Old Fashioned Simple Ingredient Cooking
Microwave Peanut Brittle
1/2 CUP BUTTER (SALTED ALWAYS IN ALL OF MY RECIPES)
1/2 CUP LIGHT CORN SYRUP
1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1 HEAPING CUP RAW PEANUTS (SKINS ON)
1 TSP. VANILLA EXTRACT
1 1/2 TSP. BAKING SODA
Roast peanuts on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees F for 8 minutes.
In a glass batter bowl, stir together peanuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Microwave on high for 4 minutes.
Take out and stir well, then microwave for 4 more minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla, then microwave 2 minutes longer. Finally, add baking soda and quickly stir until light and foamy. Immediately pour onto a lightly greased (with butter) cookie sheet.
CAUTION: Candy is very hot. Spread out thin with a spatula and let cool completely, then break into small pieces and store in a wide-mouth mason jar with a lid or an air-tight container.
