1 c Water 3 tb Coarsley Ground Coffee 1 Small Cinnamon Stick Dark Brown Sugar Place water in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil. Add coffee and stir well. Add cinnamon stick. Return to a boil; then remove from heat until bubbling stops. Remove from heat, strain into mug and sweeten with and sweeten with brown sugar. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a nice cup of café de olla -- a traditional Mexican coffee.
Simple recipe: Add cinnamon, cloves, anise star(s) & piloncillo to boiling water, and let simmer. Put 1-2 oz of mixture in a cup, then add 4-6 oz of hot coffee. Enjoy!
