Hungarian Style Cheese Spread
Liptauer
My own version of Liptauer have fun! :)
Recipe below
Ingredients:
250g Brimsen (fresh sheep cheese) or topfen cheese
(topfen is a special creme cheese from austria)
25g pickles
20g white onion
1 clove of garlic
2 anchovy fillets
30g spicy mustard
20g capers
50g butter
salt
pepper
2g whole caraway
1 pinch of parsley
20g paprika powder
Put the cream cheese in a bowl.
Cut onion, pickles, garlic, anchovies, capers and parsley fine.
Mix the butter to a cream.
Mix the cream cheese well with the butter.
Add all finely chopped ingredients to the cream cheese-butter mixture.
Put all other ingredients salt, pepper, mustard, paprika powder and caraway seeds.
Mix everything well and refine with parsley.

250g Formaggio fresco o Brimsen (Formaggio di pecora fresco)
25g Cetriolini sott' aceto
20g Cipolla bionda
1 Spicchio di Aglio
2 Filetti di Alici
30g Senape
20g Capperi
50g Burro
Sale
Pepe
2g Semi di Cumino
1 Pizzico di Prezzemolo
20g Polvere di Paprica
Istruzioni:
Metti la crema di formaggio in una ciotola.
Tritate finemente tutti gli ingredienti che dovete tagliare.
Montare il burro fino a ottenere una crema.
Mescolare bene la crema di formaggio con il burro.
Aggiungere tutti gli ingredienti tritati finemente alla crema di formaggio e burro.
Mescolare tutti gli altri ingredienti sale, pepe, senape, paprika in polvere e semi di cumino.
Amalgamate bene il tutto e rifinite con il prezzemolo.

20g Zwiebel weiß
1 Knoblauchzehe
2 Sardellen Filets
30g scharfer Senf
20g Kapern
50g Butter
Salz
Pfeffer
2g Kümmel ganz
1 Prise Petersilie
20g Paprikapulver
Zubereitung:
Den Frischkäse in eine Schüssel geben.
Alle Zutaten die du schneiden musst Zwiebel, Essiggurken, Knoblauch, Sardellen, Kapern und Petersilie fein hacken.
Die Butter zu einer Creme schlagen.
Den Frischkäse mit der Butter gut mischen.
Alle fein gehackten Zutaten in die Frischkäse- Butter Mischung geben.
Alle anderen Zutaten Salz, Pfeffer, Senf, Paprika Pulver und Kümmel dazu mischen.
Alles gut verrühren und mit Petersilie verfeinern.

Recipe:
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. goat or feta cheese
2-3 tablespoons sour cream (for easier mix)
1/2 red onion finally chopped or omit
1 tablespoon Hungarian paprika more or less to taste
1/4 teaspoon salt or not
1 -2 teaspoon ground caraway seeds
Bring cream cheese, goat or feta cheese to room temperature.
Place in a bowl along with the remaining ingredients: blend well.
Transfer to a sewing bowl. Garnish with extra scallions and serve.
Optional ingredients:
butter, mustard, black pepper.

8 Oz Cream Cheese, Softened
1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
3 TBS Sour Cream
1 TBS Onion, Minced
4 Anchovies, Minced
1 TSP Dry Mustard
1 TSP Caraway Seeds
1 TSP Hungarian Paprika (Sweet or Hot)
1 TSP Capers
Salt & Pepper
Your Favorite Crackers or Dark Bread
Blend all ingredients through capers in a food processor. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate 1 hour. Serve with crackers or bread.
