How To make Libby's Pumpkin Pie
2 ea Eggs, slightly beaten
1 cn Libby's solid pack pumpkin
3/4 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1 t Ground Cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground Ginger
1/4 ts Ground Cloves
1 1/2 c Evaporated Milk (12 oz)
2 ea 8 inch Pie Crust
Combine filling ingredients in order given; pour into pie crusts. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees, reduce temperature to 350 degrees, and bake an additional 30 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool; garnish if desired with whipped topping.

❤️SUBSCRIBE I use to HATE pumpkin pie! Turns out I just needed to up the ante on the spices and play around with different kinds of milks to create my preferred texture. This pumpkin pie recipe doesn’t stray to far from the coveted, traditional Libby’s pumpkin pie recipe but it does contain a few subtle tweaks that may win you over if you aren’t a pumpkin pie fan. It bakes up so creamy and crack-free!
For this recipe use my buttery-pie crust recipe, it’s amazing with this pie because it tastes like a biscuit with the texture of a pie crust!

Libby's FAMOUS PUMPKIN PIE RECIPE

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
1 can (15 oz.) Libby's100% Pure Pumpkin
1 can (12 fl. oz,) Carnation Evaporated Milk
1. Whisk together sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Whisk in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually whisk in evaporated milk.
2. Place prepare unbaked pie crust on pizza or cookie pan. Slowly pour pumpkin mixture into pie shell.
3. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.; bake 50 minutes or until knife or toothpick insert near center come out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Makes 8 servings
