How To make Lemon Chicken
1 T Vegetable oil
1 t Cornstarch dissolved in
2 t Soy sauce
1/2 t Sherry
1 t Vegetable oil
4 Boned chicken breasts halves
Flattened 1/2" thick Vegetable oil 2/3 c Bean sprouts
Cornstarch 2/3 c Snow peas sliced thinly
3/4 c Water
1/2 c Water chestnuts sliced
3 T Sugar
Tomato wedges, lemon 2 T Catsup
Slices, green onion slices 1 Lemon juiced
And crushed almonds 1 pn Salt
For marinade: Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl. Rub over chicken, allowing excess to drain off. Coat lightly with cornstarch. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. For lemon sauce: Combine first 6 ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to boil over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Add dissolved cornstarch and stir until slightly thickened. Keep warm. Heat 1/2 in of vegetable oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown on both sides. Drain, then cut into 3/4 inch wide strips. Set aside and keep warm. Wipe out skillet, add small amount of vegetable oil and heat over medium high heat. Add bean sprouts, snow peas, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts and stir fry until crisp-tender. transfer to heated platter. Top with chicken and spoon lemon sauce over. Garnish with tomato wedges, lemon slices, green onions and almonds.

Making & Ingredients list:

Light Green Chillies – 5
Ginger – 2 inches
Garlic pods – 20
Oil – 1 tsp
Chicken Marination:

Chicken – 1kg (Each piece 70-80gms)
Fresh Lemon Juice – 1
Salt – 1 ½ tsp (According to taste)
Massage for 2 Mins
Ground paste
Curd -4 tbsp (100gms)
Mix & Massage Well
Leave for it 30 Mins
Corn flour Water:
????
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Add Water – 20-30ml
Finger it
Making of Lemon Chicken:
????
Oil – 3 tbsp
Cardamom – 3
Cloves – 4
Bay leaf – 1
Fry for 10 seconds on Medium Flame
Add 30 Mins Marinated Chicken
Fry for 3-4 Mins on Medium Flame
CLOSE THE LID & LEAVE FOR 3 MINS ON LOW FLAME
COOK FOR 2 MINS

Total Cooking Time: 30 Mins
Without Lid – 7 Mins
Remaining with Lid
CLOSE LID & LEAVE FOR A WHILE
Black Pepper powder (Black Pepper – 1 tsp & Grind into powder)
Switch to High Flame
Gravy Thickens
Switch to Low Flame
Oil Appears
Add Corn flour water
Switch to High Flame
Cook for 2-3 Mins
Add Black Pepper powder
Kasuri Methi – half tsp
Crush it & Sprinkle
Add Fresh Lemon Juice – 1
Sprinkle Coriander leaves

Here is the lemon chicken recipe I used in my restaurant for the last 6 years. This is NOT BETTER THAN but EXACTLY the same as Chinese Take Out. If you could give me a LIKE and a SUBSCRIBE, it would mean the world. Thank you.
[RECIPE]
Ingredients:
[Chicken Marinade]
2pc Chicken thigh with skin or chicken breast
1 tsp Custard powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Chicken powder
1 tbs Corn starch
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp White pepper
Cooking wine
Sesame oil
[Batter]
1/2 cup corn starch
1 cup self raising
1 1/2 cup soda water
1/2 tsp Chicken Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Sugar
White pepper
[Lemon Sauce]
2 slices Lemon
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup White vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tsp Custard powder
Concentrated lemon sauce or substitute with honey
1/2 tbs Potato starch
Method:
1. Butterfly chicken flat into 1.5 cm thickness
2. Marinade with everything listed and add a splash of sesame oil and cooking wine. (Cover and leave in fridge overnight to marinade)
3. Combine all ingredients in [Batter] to make batter.
4. Fry chicken at 180 for 3-7mins or till golden brown. Cut into 2cm thick pieces. tip* Chop hard and fast to avoid breaking and crumbling crust.
5. Combine all ingredients less the potato starch in [Lemon Sauce] on a wok or pan and bring to a light simmer.
6. Once simmering mix potato starch with a little bit of water to make a slurry. Slowly pour into sauce while stirring to thicken.
7. Pour over crispy chicken and that's how you make it NOT BETTER BUT EXACTLY THE SAME as Chinese Take out.
