Southern Style Hot Dog Chili Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Lb. ground beef (85-15)
2 cups water
1/8 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoon chili powder
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon sugar
Directions:
1. using a deep pot, cover ground beef with water and break it up into fine pieces. Next, add all of the ingredients except for the tomato paste. bring the pot to a boil using med high to high heat.
2. Cook on high heat and bring the pot to a simmer, cook until the water reduce.
3. add tomato paste when the water is reduced in size, cook until the chili sauce is thick.
4. serve on hot dogs, hamburgers, even fries.
5. If you have any chili leftover, store in the freezer for later use.

“Cooking with Jay” Episode 15: 3 Bean Chili
I’m back with another episode of “Cooking with Jay” I’ll be posting cooking videos to help people live a healthy lifestyle. Today’s recipe is 3 Bean Chili. I hope you enjoy! 3 Bean Chili
Ingredients
1 1/2 Cups total of Red & Orange Pepper
1/2 Cup Onion
1/2 Cup Celery
2Cloves of Garlic (minced)
2 Cups Canned Black Eyed Peas
1 1/2 Cups Canned Chic Peas
1 Cup Canned Kidney Beans
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
4 Cups Organic vegetable broth
2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Parsley
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Thyme
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
Instructions
1. Dice peppers, onions, and celery. Mince garlic. Drain and rinse beans.
2. In a stock pot, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté onion, peppers, garlic, and celery for 5–7 minutes.
3. Add vegetable broth, beans, and all herbs and spices. Cover. Simmer for approximately 1 hour or until beans are tender and liquid thickens slightly.
4. Remove from heat and enjoy.
National Champion Chili Recipe (2018)
This chili recipe is a World Champion Chili Recipe from the 2017 Terlingua Chili Cook-Off. This is the championship-winning recipe from Brent Allen. In the video, we show you how to make a competition style chili (which doesn't allow for fresh ingredients) but we do not follow the recipe to a T, so please check out Brent Allen's competition-winning chili recipe here:

There are several different ways to make a red chili recipe and this is a competition championship chili recipe so it does not include many of those raw ingredients found in a home version of the traditional comfort food chili recipe such as onions or peppers. In competition, you can't add raw ingredients so you must use powders. If you want to try this at home -- which I recommend because it is DELICIOUS -- you can buy all of the chili powders I named online.
