The Easiest Traybake You Will Ever Make/ Traditional Fifteens Recipe
Fifteen Recipe
#traditionalirish #fifteens #traybake
Hi guys, welcome to Marks Irish Kitchen, where I make family friendly recipes that the whole family can enjoy. todays video is for fifteens.
This incredibly easy and quick to prepare traybake tastes like heaven on a plate with its marshmallow, coconutty goodness! I like to use a combination of white and pink marshmallows.
Fifteens are a classic Northern Irish traybake, if not THE classic traybake. Fifteens are also a no-bake traybake and aren’t usually made in a tray. So really they are quite confusing
They are sweet and sticky and delicious and also freeze well, so you can always have some close at hand. If you are going to put some in the freezer, I’d advise placing them between sheets of greaseproof paper, so they don’t stick together.
Ingredients
15 marshmallows, quartered
15 Digestive biscuits or Graham Crackers, crushed
15 glacé/candied cherries, quartered
7 oz or 200g condensed milk (half a regular can)
desiccated coconut
Instructions
Crush the biscuits until they are mostly crumbs, leaving a few larger pieces (about the size of a hazelnut) for texture and place in a large bowl.
Add the chopped marshmallows and cherries.
Pour in the condensed milk and mix until everything comes together, adding a little more condensed milk if you need it.
Place the mixture onto some cling film or greaseproof paper and shape into a log. Cover the outside of the log with the coconut and roll around until it’s covered on all sides.
Wrap it up tightly in a roll and place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Slice and enjoy.

Christmas Yule Log Cake Recipe (Bûche De Noël)
This beautiful Yule Log cake is nothing short of delicious and absolutely will be the centerpiece of all your Christmas festivities. With the added meringue mushrooms, sugared cranberries, and rosemary, everyone will think you are a professional baker.
The Christmas yule log is a Nordic tradition that stems all the way back to the 15th century. It’s the tradition of a whole cut down tree where the cut end was placed into a fire and for the 12 nights leading up to Christmas this tree would feed the fire, so it was constantly moving into the fire. This custom spread throughout Europe.
The dessert became popularized in the 19th century and is still common to see at Christmas in Belgium and France where it is known as the Bûche de Noël. The yule log is a beautiful Christmas dessert showpiece, but it does take a bit of time, so get ready to hone those baking and pastry skills.
