How To make Honey Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup honey
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup reduced calorie margarine
4 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.
Cream honey, applesauce and margarine in large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Beat in egg whites, one at a time, then add vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; mix well. Add dry ingredients to honey mixture; mix thoroughly. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Heap teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto cookie sheet.
Place cookie sheet above center of oven; bake 12-16 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cookies stand 1 minute, then remove and place on wire racks to cool. Makes 5 dozen cookies.

Simple honey oats cookies
Oats cookie recipe
Ingredients-
1&½ cup rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
8 tablespoons (100 gm) unsalted butter
1 TSPN baking soda
½ TSPN baking powder
1 tbsp coco powder ( optional )
¼ cup dry fruits powder
¼ cup crushed walnuts
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Then line to large cookie sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl take Grinded rolled oats then puts sieve on a bowl and add 1 cup of wheat flour, 1teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder ( optional) and sieve it . (Pinch of salt is optional) then add ¼ cup dry fruits powder and ¼ cup crushed walnuts. Mix all dry ingredients and keep aside.
In another bowl take butter
( butter should be at room temperature but not liquid melted), then add brown sugar and start whisking, Once batter gets light and fluffy add vanilla extract and honey, now mix with spoon, do not whisk vigorously. Mix until well combined
Then Add dry ingredients into the wet and mix with a spatula.make a dough ( do not knead the dough )
Lastly, using a tablespoon measure scoop tablespoons of the cookie dough onto your lined cookie sheet, leaving about 1 1/2 to 2 inches between the cookies.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes on 180deg Celsius (380deg F) or until the cookies are golden brown and slightly risen.
If you are taking exact 1 tbsp dough then max 12 minutes is fine
Tip- if you don’t want to use honey then instead of 8 tablespoons butter take 9 tablespoons butter..

Ingredients
½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
½ cup (100 g) packed light brown sugar
½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ cup (185 g) all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp (7.5 g) cornstarch
½ tsp (2.5 g) baking soda
½ tsp (2.5 g) salt
1 ½ cup (262 g) chocolate chips
1 cup (100 g) lightly toasted, coarsely chopped pecans (optional)
Directions
1. Cream the butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar together well. Beat in the egg and the vanilla.
2. In a separate bowl, sift the flour with the cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add this to the butter mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans (if using).
3. Using a small ice cream scoop or a tablespoon, scoop spoonfuls of dough (about 2 Tbsp) shape them into a ball and place onto a parchment lined baking tray or a plate. Chill the scooped cookies for at least an hour, or once chilled, the cookies can be frozen for baking later.
4. Preheat the oven to 325ºF (162 C). Arrange the chilled scooped cookies onto parchment-lined baking trays, leaving 3 inches between the cookies. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until browned around the edges. Cool the cookies on the baking tray. If baking cookie dough that has been frozen, arrange the frozen cookies on the baking tray and let them thaw for 20 minutes at room temperature before baking as above.
Let cool slightly and enjoy.
