How To make Holiday Brie
------------------------------PATTI - VDRJ67A------------------------------ 1 c Cranberries, fresh; chopped
1/2 c Pears; peeled, chopped
2 tb Honey
1 tb Currants
1/4 ts Pumpkin pie spice
3 tb Cranberry juice cocktail
2 tb Red wine vinegar
2 ts Lemon juice
15 oz Brie; round; fully ripened
Combine first 8 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring mix to a boil over medium-high heat. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Uncover and cook an additional 5 minutes or until mix is thickened, stirring frequently. Cool mix to room temperature. Cut circle in top rind of cheese, leaving an 1/4" border of rind. Carefully remove center circle of rind from cheese, leaving border intact. Place Brie on an ovenproof serving platter. Spread cranberry mix over top. Bake at 350~ for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serve immediately with melba rounds or sliced apples and pears. Yield: 30 appetizer servings.

Baked Brie in Puff Pastry Recipe
This Baked Brie in Puff Pastry is one of the easiest and most delicious appetizers you can prepare for holiday season or any other party. Not only it looks great but it tastes awesome too and is best served with crackers or toasted bread slices.

Ingredients
Makes about 8 servings
1/4 cup (70g) apricot jam
1/3 cup (60g) dried cranberries or raisins
1/4 cup (25g) toasted pecans or walnuts or almonds, chopped
1 sheet (9 0z - 275g) puff pastry, thawed
2 (4 oz-125g) Brie cheese rounds
1 egg, beaten
1. Heat the oven to 425°F (220C).
2. In a small bowl combine apricot jam with toasted nuts and cranberries.
3. Unfold the pastry sheet and divide in two. Cut off the corners of each piece.
4. Spoon the apricot jam mixture in the center of each piece of dough. Top with the 2 pieces of Brie cheese.
5. Brush the edge of the dough with beaten egg. Fold the pastry up over the cheese to cover.
6. Place seam-side down onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Use the leftover pastry scraps to cut shapes to decorate. Brush with the egg mixture.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with crackers or toasted bread slices.

Our baked brie with a delicious apple, cranberry, and almond filling is so delicious and is a top request for the holidays. This is a great appetizer to take to parties. We love it!
Baked Brie Recipe
Preheat oven to 350
1/2 cup of chopped apple
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup of dried cranberries
1 Tbsp of packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1 Tbsp of melted butter
1 8oz round Brie cheese (about 4” in diameter)
I puff pastry sheet for crust or pie crust
Mix everything together in a bowl (except cheese and crust)
Cut Brie in half horizontally
Place a pie crust sheet in baking dish
Place Brie on crust rind side down
Spoon half the above mixture on top of cheese
Place the second half of Brie on top with rind side up
Spoon remaining half of ingredients on top of Brie
Wrap the piecrust around everything to create a seal
You can brush on a little melted butter to help brown the crust
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cheese is melted

The Easiest Fig Baked Brie Recipe
The perfect appetizer for parties or a snack to enjoy while reading one of Harlequin Books fall romance novels. Easy Baked Brie is filled with fig jam and wrapped in buttery pastry. Melty, cheesy, sweet bliss!

Ingredients
▢ 1 sheet frozen puff pastry dough, thawed according to package directions
▢ 1 8 ounce round Brie Cheese, do not remove rind
▢ 3 tablespoons fig Jam
▢ 1 egg, lightly beaten
Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
Slice off the top rind of the brie horizontally using a sharp knife.
Unfold the puff pastry and place the brie in the center of the puff pastry, cut side up.
Spoon the fig jam over the surface of the cut side of the brie to cover.
Fold the puff pastry up over the brie to cover. Alternatively, you can cover the brie with the puff pastry and then tuck the edges underneath.
Place the brie in the center of a parchment lined baking sheet and brush the surface with the egg.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Let the brie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve with crackers, fruit and bread sticks, if desired.
