How To make Graveyard Treat
2 1/4 c Chocolate wafer cookie
Crumbs
Divided 1/2 c Sugar :
divided
1/2 c Margarine or butter
Melted 8 oz Cream cheese, cubed :
Softenend 12 oz Cool Whip -- thawed
2 c Boiling water
1 pk 8-serving size Orange Jello
Gelatin 1/2 c Cold water
Ice cubes Rectangular or oval shaped Sandwich Cookies Decorator icings Candy corn and pumpkins Mix 2 cups of the cookie crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar and the melted margarine with fork in 13x9" baking pan until crumbs are well moistened. Press firmly onto bottom of pan to form crust. Refrigerate. Beat cream cheese and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in med. bowl with wire whisk until smooth. Gently stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping. Spread evenly over crust. Stir boiling water into gelatin in med. bowl 2 minuets or until completely dissolved. Mix cold water and ice cubes to make 1-1/2 cups. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any remaining ice. Spoon gelatin over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Spread remaining whipped topping over gelatin just before serving; sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cookie crumbs. Decorate sandwich cookies with icings to make "tombstones". - 5.9oz package of chocolate pudding mix
- 3 C milk
- 12 Oreos
- 1 C Cool Whip
- 6 Milano cookies
- Food coloring
Sweet Treats: Halloween Brownie Graveyard Recipe | FYI
Make your Halloween even spookier with this tasty edible brownie graveyard recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 boxes of brownies + ingredients listed on brownie box
1 container chocolate frosting
Green frosting
1 package chocolate sandwich cookies
Gummy worms
White chocolate
Candy rocks
Sugar skull decorations
Chocolate peanut butter candies (Reese’s Pieces)
Gum paste
Black food color
Vodka (to paint the gum paste)
½ sheet tray
Xacto knife
Grass piping tip
Parchment paper
Piping bags
PREPARATION:
1) Follow the steps for your favorite brownie mix:
2) Cut out gum paste shaped tombstones and paint.
3) Pipe white chocolate spider webs on parchment paper and put in fridge.
4) Cut out graves from brownie and reserve brownie crumbs.
5) Fill graves with frosting and add brownie crumbs.
6) Add gumpaste tombstones and decorate brownies with candy decorations, green grass, cookie crumbs and white chocolate spiderwebs/body parts.
