How To make Double Treat Walnut Cookies
1 c Whole-Wheat Flour
1/4 c Nonfat Dry Milk
1/4 c Wheat Germ
1 t Salt
1 t Baking Powder
1/4 ts Cinnamon
3/4 c Shortening
1 1/4 c Packed Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 c Frozen Orange-Juice
Concentrate, Thawed 1 1/2 c Uncooked Quick Oats
1 c Chopped Walnuts
1/2 c Chopped Raisins
2 tb Granulated Sugar
Stir together flour, milk, wheat germ, salt, baking powder and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl cream shortening, brown sugar and egg until fluffy; add orange concentrate. Stir in flour mixture, then oats, walnuts, and raisins. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 4 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets. Press with bottom of glass dipped in sugar to 3-1/4 inch diameter. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 15 minutes or until cookie springs back when pressed lightly. Let stand 2 to 3 minutes. walnut crescent cookies Something Vegan Christmas Treats Week
RECIPE
1/3 cup vegan margarine
1/3 cup organic sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup finely ground walnuts
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup organic powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. To a bowl, add vegan margarine, and sugar. Stir well. Add vanilla extract, and ground walnuts. Stir well. Add flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until a dough forms. Shape the dough into small crescents, and place on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake 12-15 minutes. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the pan, but when they are still slightly warm, roll in powdered sugar until evenly coated. Make 2 dozen cookies.

Ingredients:
Flour - 1 ¾ Cups
Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 Cup
Sugar - ½ Cup
Brown Sugar - ¾ Cup
Eggs - 2 nos
Vanilla Essence - ½ tsp
Baking Soda - 1 tsp
Salt - ¾ tsp
White Chocolate (chopped) - 1 Cup
Dark Chocolate (chopped) - 1 Cup
Walnuts (roughly chopped) - 1 cup
Instructions:
In a Bowl, mix butter and both sugars till it is creamy.
Add the egg, vanilla essence and mix it till it all combines.
Sieve the flours, corn flour, baking soda and fold it in just till it combines.
Add the chocolate chips and walnuts. Fold it in.
Let the cookie dough Rest for an hour.
Grease a baking tray. Scoop the cookie dough using an ice cream scooper and place it on the tray with even gaps between each cookie dough.
Bake it at 200 degrees celsius for 10 minutes and let it rest for another 10 minutes.

OFFICIAL DOUBLETREE COOKIE RECIPE
Today you will need:
Stand mixer
Mixing utensils
Pan
Parchment paper
2 large eggs
1 ¼ teaspoons vanilla extract
½ pound butter, softened (2 sticks)- if you have refrigerated butter you can put it in the microwave for 10 sec
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 3/4 cups chopped walnuts
¼ teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 2/3 cups Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pinch of cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
2 ¼ cups flour
¾ cup + 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup rolled oats
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
Instructions:
1. preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Get out your stand mixer and add 2 sticks of softened butter, ¾ cup and 1 tablespoon of sugar, and ¾ cup of packed brown sugar.
3. Turn on and mix this for 2 min on medium.
4. After you are done mixing, add 2 eggs, 1 ¼ teaspoon of vanilla and ¼ teaspoon of lemon juice.
5. Turn on your mixer on low speed for 30 sec., then medium speed for 2 minutes. Your mixture should be light when done. Don’t forget to scrap the bowl to get all the ingredients mixed!
6. While the mixer is on low speed add 2 ¼ cups of flour, ½ cup of oats, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of cinnamon. This should be blending for 45 seconds, because you don’t want to overmix!
7. Take your bowl from the mixer and stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.
