How to make Fruit Pizza | Fruit Pizza Recipe
This is a beautiful show stopper! Fresh fruit layered on cream cheese on top of a sugar cookie! Everyone loves it!
Homemade sugar cookie dough OR Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough 1/2 C sugar 6 Tbsp butter- part shortening 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/4 C flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt Pat dough onto a pizza pan or cookie sheet Bake 350° for 10-12 minutes Cool Completely
Cream 6-8 oz cream cheese and 1/3 C sugar and splash of vanilla. Spread on cooled crust. Wash and slice your favorite seasonal fruit and decorate or pile it on like a pizza. I like the pretty artwork. Make sure the fruit is well drained and patted dry so that the crust doesn't get soggy. Decorate pizza the day before or day of. Store in fridge. Enjoy!!
Watch how to build a delicious fruit pizza, using cookie dough for the crust. The filling is a creamy mixture of cream cheese and frozen topping, and you can use any fresh fruits you like for the top—but bright colored ones make the biggest impression.
