How To make Fruit& Fiber Overload Muffins
1 cup apple
grated
1/2 cup banana :
mashed
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 cups 100% Bran=AE cereal
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup blueberries -- or cranberries
Preheat oven to 375F. Grease 12 muffin cups or coat with cooking = spray. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat eggs. Stir in = buttermilk, molasses, oil, grated apple, and mashed banana.
Measure bran, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon = into a large mixing bowl. Stir with a fork until mixed, then, make a = well in center. Pour in fruit mixture, stirring just until combined. = Stir in blueberries or cranberries.
Immediately spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake in center of 375F = oven until golden and a cake tester inserted into center of a muffin = comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand = for 5 minutes. Then turn out onto a cooling rack. Serve warm. Store = muffins in a sealed bag at room temperature for up to 2 days. For = longer storage, refrigerate muffins or preferably freeze.

Almond Butter & Coconut Granola: (makes a large batch)
- 3 cups whole rolled oats
- 1 cup coconut shreds
- 1 cup raw whole almonds
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 TBSP coconut oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup smooth almond butter
- make as shown & serve with fruit, hemp seeds & plant milk of choice
Balsamic & Cinnamon Glazed Shrooms:
- 200-300 button shrooms
- 1 large red onion
- 1-2 TBSP olive oil (or water for frying)
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- good drizzle of balsamic glaze (not balsamic vinegar)
- salt & pepper to taste
- whole grain seedy bread
- good creamy hummus
- some liquid gold (tahini for drizzling)
- apply to face & enjoy
High Protein Salted Caramel Waffles:
- 1 & 1/2 cups whole grain spelt flour (or any flour of choice)
- 1 scoop salted caramel perform protein from vivolife (linked above)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 & 1/2 cups almond milk
- berries & coconut yogurt (or any fruit & plant yogurt of choice)
- 2 TBSP raw hemp seeds

Birdie Bread Recipe
This is the recipe I use to get my picky eater, Tango, to eat his veggies.
Birdtricks had the original recipe ( then I tweaked it over time to fit my fids needs.
Please make sure, before making any diet changes, that you get a scale to monitor your bird's weight - you don't want to accidentally deprive or indulge your bird with new foods!

Also, I am not associated with Birdtricks other than being a happy client who has had amazing results. If you have actual training questions, please contact them or another trainer you know and trust to answer those for you. While I love my birds, I'm no trainer :)
1 cup BirdTricks Organic Parrot Pellets (turn to powder in blender or you can substitute with 1 cup of BirdTricks Birdie Bread Mix)
1 cup Roudybush Pellets (turn into powder or keep whole)
1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
1 cup Rolled Oats
1/2 cup Granola ( I used 1/4 each of Kinds - Cinnamon Oat Clusters & Oats & Honey Clusters - the amount of granola can be reduced as your bird begins to convert as there is a lot of sugar in this)
3 TBSP Ground Flaxseed
3 TBSP Chia Seeds
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
3 TBSP Cinnamon (Optional)
2 TBSP Chopped Walnuts (Optional)
Mix dry ingredients all together.
In another bowl blend:
2/3 Banana
1/2 cup Almond Milk
2 Eggs
Mix together dry and wet ingredients then mix in assorted vegetables of your choice. Several cups or less if your bird is resistant to veggies then increase with each batch.
Put mixture in a baking dish. Bake @ 400 degrees for 1 - 1 1/2 hours depending on thickness of the bread.
