How to Make Snowflake Shortbread Cookies | Cookie Recipe

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt

Crunchy and classic! Air Fryer Scottish Shortbread Recipe | HYSapientia Air Fryer Oven Recipe Cookie
Ingredients
375g plain flour
250g butter
125g granulated sugar
Dash of vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Method
1. Put the flour into a bowl and mix in the butter, which should be at room temperature, then add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix with your hands until you have a dough.
2. Prepare your baking tins with greaseproof paper
3. Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thick and for the petticoat tails, put some dough in the tin and press until flat.
4. For the shortbread fingers, I rolled them out and shaped them neatly.
5. I used a fork to poke holes in both, which makes the shortbread crispier and helps it absorb moisture, leaving a buttery taste throughout. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
6. Bake in the HYSapientia air fryer oven at 160 for 15 mins

???? Shortbread Cookies Ingredients:
1 cup (16 tbsp, 230g) butter
1/2 cup (50g) powdered sugar
2 cups (250g) all purpose flour
2.5 inch cookie cutter
???? Shortbread Cookies Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F (177C).
2. Using a hand held or stand mixer, beat butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy. Add in flour and mix until mixture resemble crumb texture.
3. Knead the dough with hands until dough forms. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4. Lightly dust the work surface with flour, roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thick rectangular shape. Using a cookie cutter (I used 2.5 inch round cookie cutter), cut into any shapes you like.
5. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper
6. Bake for about 16-18 minutes, or until cookies are pale golden brown.
7. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Shortbread Cookies | English Tea Party Series #2 | Buttercream Frosting | How To Make Recipe
These delicious shortbread cookies with a pink buttercream frosting are perfect for any party. We are making them for our English tea party series.
Shortbread Cookie Dough Recipe:
1 1/2 cups of room temperature butter
1 cup of powdered sugar (sifted)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of salted butter
2 cups, 1 Tbsp of all purpose flour
Bake at 325 degrees F for 17 to 18 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Let cool on the baking pan for 10 to 15 minutes and then transfer them to a wire cooling rack.
Pink Buttercream Frosting Recipe:
1 cup of room temperature butter
1 tsp of vanilla extract
A dash of salt
2 cups of sifted powdered sugar
2 to 3 Tbsps of heavy cream (We used about 2 Tbsps)
For the pink color we slowly added red food coloring until we got the pink color we liked.
