Peppercorn Brisket Recipe | Over The Fire Cooking #shorts
Mesquite Peppercorn Lager Smoked Brisket on a rainy day! ???? ???? ???? ????
It was my sister’s birthday last week! To celebrate, I made this super delicious brisket for our family to share! It was the perfect entree for her birthday dinner and I had too much fun slicing into it with our family. Waking up before the sun, I cooked this brisket for 14 hours. Through rain & shine, we kept the smoker at a consistent 250F spritzing it with a delicious lager, white wine vinegar and hot sauce mixture. This brisket was super fun to make and did not disappoint!

Anyone Can Make This 24 Hour OVEN Brisket (Surprising Results)
Brisket is one of my favorite cuts of beef and with a little patience and some techniques taken from the savvy culinary world of smoking meats you can end up with the most amazing melt-in-your-mouth brisket cooked 100% in your oven at home.
Video edited by: nomaeditz@gmail.com
Brisket Direction:
1. trim your brisket all the way around leaving a 1/4-1/3 inch layer of fat.
2. season your brisket with desired seasoning (rosemary salt recipe below)
3. bake your brisket at 250 f (120 c) until it reaches around 160 f (71 c)
4. wrap your brisket in butchers paper that's been brushed with beef tallow and return
to the oven at 250 f (120 c) until it reaches 203 f (95 c)
5. remove the brisket from the oven and perform doneness tests until finally resting the brisket down
until it hits 160-170 f (71-76 c)
6. set your oven as low as it goes to match the temperate of the brisket at 160-170 f (71-76 c) and
place your brisket back into the warm oven for 10-12 hours
7. remove the brisket from the oven and let cool down to 150 f (65 c) before slicing and serving

Learn How to Make Braised Beef Brisket in a Dutch Oven Below.
Serves 8
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: ~3 hours
Ingredients:
3 lbs. brisket
1/4 cup spicy mustard
1.5 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tbsp. smoked paprika
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. mustard powder
1 cup chicken or beef broth
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Rub the mustard all over the brisket.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar, paprika, garlic, onion, pepper, salt and mustard powder. Sprinkle the spice blend all over the brisket.
Place the brisket in a dutch oven and cover it with the broth. Cover the pot and place it in the oven for 1 hour.
After an hour, flip the brisket over and set your ThermoPro thermometer to 205-210 degrees Fahrenheit. We used a dual probe thermometer since our piece of brisket was long Place the probe into the thickest part of the meat and cover the pot. Place the pot back into the oven and allow it to braise until the desired temperature is reached on your ThermoPro thermometer. If you’d like, you can also remove the lid from the dutch oven along with the thermometer probes, increase your oven temperature to 375 degrees, and place the dutch oven back in the oven for 20 minutes or so to brown the top of the brisket and reduce the liquid in the pot.
Allow the meat to cool slightly, then slice or shred the brisket. Pour the juices on top and serve with your favorite side (we love crispy paprika potatoes).
