How To make English Jam Tarts
2 2/3 c Flour
1 c Butter, chilled
2 tb Honey or sugar
1 ea Egg yolk
1/2 c Less 1 T water, ice cold
1 t Grated lemon rind or extract
1 ea Assorted jams and preserves
Using knives, cut together flour and butter until butter is small marble size. Make a well, and add sweetener, egg yolk, water and lemon rind. Quickly combine all ingredients. Place dough on floured surface and knead lightly together for 5 minutes. Roll dough into a ball, and chill in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness, and cut into 4-inch squares. Put a tablespoonful of jam in the center of each square, fold into a triangle and seal the edges. Place on oiled cookie sheets and bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Tarts will be golden brown when done. Serve warm or cooled. Makes 12 tarts

Ingredients:
2 cups (300g) flour
¼ cup (50g) sugar
⅔ cup (150g) butter
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
500g quince jam or any jam you prefer
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp sugar
Directions:
1. In a bowl put the flour, sugar, vanilla essence, salt, egg, and mix.
2. Work the dough together with your hands into a ball and cover with cling wrap. Refrigerate for 1 hour!
3. Cut 1/3 of dough and set aside. Roll the dough around the rolling pin and unroll onto a pie dish making sure the dough reaches all edges.
4. Put the quince jam.
5. Repeat the same rolling process. Use a knife to cut the dough into strips of about ½-inch width.
6. Trim the extra dough from the edges. Make sure edges are sealed together.
7. Brush the pie with milk and sprinkle it with sugar.
8. Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes at 170C or until the crust is golden brown.
9. Enjoy it!

Jam Tarts start with a sweet and buttery tart shell that is filled with your favorite jam. Lovely with a small dollop of whipped or clotted cream.
Ingredients:
Salt 1 Pinch
All purpose flour 100 Grams
Butter 60 Grams
Sugar powder 30 Grams
Milk 15 ml
Directions:
1. Take a bowl add butter, all purpose flour, salt, mix it, add sugar powder, crumble it, add milk, mix it like a dough, with the help of rolling pin roll the dough in to thin sheet,
2. take a cutter and cut them into flower shape,take this and put it in the tart mould and press it, to avoid puffing the dough while baking put some grains into the tart (wait this), so add any type of grains and arrange them into the baking tray and bake them at 180 c for 10 minutes. After that remove the grains from tarts, fill the tarts with jam and on top put the star shape cookies (make them star shape cookies with the same dough).

You will need:
200g Plain Flour
1 tbsp Caster Sugar
125g Butter
1 Egg
1 tbsp Water
150g Jam

Ingredients:
For the tarts:
175g plain flour, plus extra to dust
85g cold salted butter, cut into small pieces
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg yolk, beaten with 2 tbsp cold water
