How To make English Jam Tarts
2 2/3 c Flour
1 c Butter, chilled
2 tb Honey or sugar
1 ea Egg yolk
1/2 c Less 1 T water, ice cold
1 t Grated lemon rind or extract
1 ea Assorted jams and preserves
Using knives, cut together flour and butter until butter is small marble size. Make a well, and add sweetener, egg yolk, water and lemon rind. Quickly combine all ingredients. Place dough on floured surface and knead lightly together for 5 minutes. Roll dough into a ball, and chill in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness, and cut into 4-inch squares. Put a tablespoonful of jam in the center of each square, fold into a triangle and seal the edges. Place on oiled cookie sheets and bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. Tarts will be golden brown when done. Serve warm or cooled. Makes 12 tarts

Ingredients:
2 cups (300g) flour
¼ cup (50g) sugar
⅔ cup (150g) butter
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
500g quince jam or any jam you prefer
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp sugar
Directions:
1. In a bowl put the flour, sugar, vanilla essence, salt, egg, and mix.
2. Work the dough together with your hands into a ball and cover with cling wrap. Refrigerate for 1 hour!
3. Cut 1/3 of dough and set aside. Roll the dough around the rolling pin and unroll onto a pie dish making sure the dough reaches all edges.
4. Put the quince jam.
5. Repeat the same rolling process. Use a knife to cut the dough into strips of about ½-inch width.
6. Trim the extra dough from the edges. Make sure edges are sealed together.
7. Brush the pie with milk and sprinkle it with sugar.
8. Bake the pie for 35-40 minutes at 170C or until the crust is golden brown.
9. Enjoy it!

jam of choice
coconut optional
bake @ 170 degrees Celsius
for 20-25 minutes depending on your size baking pan
switch oven off and leave inside for 10 minutes
dust with icing sugar

EASY Jam Tart/Hungarian Tart Recipe
Hey favs. hope you'll enjoy making this recipe because I did.
It's very easy and simple to make and tastes delicious too, enjoy.
INGREDIENTS:
400g Butter
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Oil
3 Eggs
3 cups Flour
2 tspn Baking Powder
Jam for filling
pre heat your oven to 180 C.
Beat Butter and Sugar together until creamy. Add oil and beat furthermore. Add in one Egg at a time and beat as you go. Your Butter should be looking formyl and creamy. Then add Flour and Baking powder, fold all your ingredients to form a smooth dough. Now grease your baking pan and fill with dough and press down with your finger as seen on the video and add your jam. Now grate the dough that was on your clingwrap on top of your pressed on dough with jam to form the crumbs. And you're ready to bake.
BAKE FOR 25-30 MINS.
